AMF Tiles & Contracting

We hired Andrew and team to start a very extensive tile removal and home renovation project this spring.

Andrew and team arrived each day on time and did their very best to keep the unavoidable mess at bay throughout the project.. (removed two layers of old tile etc. to the subfloor) He came up with great advice on tile patterns when reinstalling new tile, and I felt was very reasonable in prices , considering the scope of work. Everyone who has seen the finished job has admired the finished product. They even finished early! (when does that ever happen?) I would highly recommend AMF Contracting to others !!

My husband and I were a bit leery of going with the best quote since we’ve been burned in the past, but we decided to give AMF tiles a chance and we are so glad we did.

Andrew has been amazing to work with. He is friendly and professional and his work is beautiful. Even though he was busy, he was able to squeeze us in for our small job helping to keep our reno on track. He stands behind his work and came back to fix small imperfections from grout shrinkage and even came back to fix the grout after my lovely cat jumped over the barrier not 10 min after he left!

I will definitely be using them again for future renos and would highly recommend them.

Excellent experience with Andrew and his crew at AMF Tiles & Contracting. We hired AMF to remove our existing builders' tiles in the kitchen, front entryway, bathroom and laundry room, and install all new 24x24 tiles. The work was done on time and in a very organized and professional manner. Andrew was very communicative throughout the process which took about 10 days start to finish. He is also a pleasure to have around. We would hire AMF again and would highly recommend to anyone!

My only tip would be to have your project lined up and people hired well in advance, because the best contractors (like AMF) are booked up 6-12+ months out.

I recently had my bathroom upstairs tiled by AMF tiles and contracting. Andrew did a fantastic job completing our project. We are beyond thrilled with the final outcome and very pleased with his attention to detail, knowledge and professionalism. My Fiancée and I’s experience with Andrew/AMF Tiles & Contracting has been nothing short of excellent. We completely renovated our home from top to bottom, and I told Andrew he was the best contractor we’ve had in yet. We were pleased with the communication, timelines, work completed, respect, professionalism and so on. Him and his crew did their best to work with our century home and all the issues that come along with renovating an older home. Andrew was very professional and did an excellent job. He was a pleasure to do business with and I would highly recommend him.

Andrew installed my kitchen backsplash. He responded promptly to my emails, was professional, and gave me an accurate quote. He was up front about what was required of me and what he was able to provide. He completed the job when he said he would and was also flexible when my timeline changed. The quality of work was great and I'm very happy with the finished product.

Andrew installed our marble backsplash and all I can say is good things. The job came out great and we are very happy. Andrew is very knowledgeable and very courteous. He even put up with our puppy trying to eat his things.

To be completely honest, AMF knocked it out of the park. The whole job was done in two days. Day one he installed all the tiles within about 7h, day 2 he put in the grout in about 2h.

The part that impressed me the most, when he came back on day 2 he noticed one of the tiles was not perfectly level with all the rest, and had a bit of a wobble. I would never have noticed, nor cared because it was going under the countertops. But he was very adamant that he fixes his mistake, and repaired it in about 10 minutes.

I paid him when all the grout was done and our business concluded. The following day I sent him a message because I noticed two minor spots where the grout didn't settle right and formed small holes between the tiles. He showed up within 2 hours and fixed it up. On his own time might I add.

I've been continually renovating my house for the past two years, where I've had a few contractors refuse to come back after they've been paid for the job when I notice a mistake or something they've missed after the fact. That's why I highly respect AMF.
