Terrible service for the price and excessively long wait time for communication. I had a moving with this company and they got my stuff covered in dust when delivered, the staff who delivered my furniture were really rude, they were also communicating in their own language, also my desk somehow got damaged with a pothole on it, not mentioning they got my sofa out of shape. It took me for weeks to get a hold with their supervisory staff and even longer for a $50 reimbursement. The moving service costs me about $1600 but it was definitely not worth the price and I would not bring my business to them ever again.
We used Armour to move our stuff from Edmonton to Vancouver. It was collected in Edmonton on the 28th of December and STILL has not been delivered in Vancouver, on the 6th of January 2016.
I waited DAYS before they could tell me what the cost would be, and then had to beg for an invoice. Not that they were slow to charge my credit card!
That's a twelve hour drive, not across the planet!
Every step of the process has been painful and slow, and their so called "customer service" team are rude and inept.
They're certainly not the cheapest either.
My opinion? Avoid them like the plague.
Moved from Victoria, BC to Ottawa, ON. Very pleased with the staff at Armour. The first thing that impressed me was the customer service from the office staff. Very courteous, responsive and didnt have to wait long to get an email from them.
We had them come in September to pick up the shipment, and we just accepted a delivery at the end of November. We had a full pack service (not cheap but worth every penny) and i was happy that we did. We didnt have to worry about buying boxes and packing everything. They came in (a crew of 4 people) packed our house and it was done the same day. No hassle. I did have to clean after they left - but thats something that they dont offer, hehehe...
I was overall very happy with the service and although some of the smaller items got scratched, it was nothing major in my opinion.
They were on time at both locations and always called to confirm.
We are a very busy family and have small kids so this was a very smooth move considering the size, distance and storage involved.

I would describe my move with Armour Van Lines as a complete nightmare. They had much difficulty arranging a time to pick up my items. They missed the initial pick up date and had to reschedule. When delivering my items, they made me pay before they unload the items. I paid, assuming they were in the business of moving and could be trusted; however, I was quite wrong. They lost 16 of my items, including my bed. In addition, they damaged every piece of furniture I had them move. I submitted my claim form the day after, as I was instructed. I was told the claim would take 4-6 weeks to process. I called every day, hoping for an update or details as to what they were doing to recover my items. Eventually I had to use new names every time I called if I wanted to speak to someone. If I used my own name, everyone seemed to be on holidays, out to lunch, or with other clients, but the minute I called back with a new name, they were readily available. Not once did they contact me to let me know what was going on. At the end of the last day of the 6 weeks, I called asking the whereabouts of my claims money. They were unsure. I ended up having to submit a BBB complaint. It has now been 17 weeks and I have yet to see my claims money.
Absolutely horrible experience. This company caused thousands of dollars of damage to our things. Smashed our plasma TV, destroyed our dining room table. Broke our BBQ, broken dishes, shelves etc. They do not care about your things. This isn't just mishaps it seems outright malicious damage. In all my years I have never seen such a blatant disregard for customers. Horrible company! Do not trust them!!!!
The worst moving company ever! Do yourself a favour and don't hire them!! They broke our table and tried to pack it all nice and neat so that we didn't know until we went to put it together and can't because we're the screws go (main part) in they snapped that wood!!! Also we opened our main tv Panasonic 3D smart tv and it is smashed even though it was in a uhaul box that says fragile flat screen tv this side up.....grrrrr!
If that isn't bad enough we called and we have to fill out a claim form within 10 days of receiving our stuff and can only fill out one form!!! Also they won't review it until 2-3 weeks then we will find out what they will do in 4-6 weeks!!!!
The last thing I would like to share is they tell you that it will take 2-3 weeks to get your stuff and we waited over a month for our stuff. Oh and you have to take their word for it that your stuff is the weight that they say it is. They told us that we owed over 10 grand and when I said that I will drive to the nearest place to see that the weight is real the price went down to 8 grand!!!! They are crooks and don't care about your stuff at all!!!!
Everything was great until my boxes were delivered and 4 boxes were missing. Instead of taking care of this immediately and finding them I was told "Also are you sure that 4 boxes are missing? We don't have the same count. As you also noted some stickers fell off however the items arrived." and "Also have you opened everything already and checked everything?". I had taken pictures of everything and counted every box and I knew exactly what was missing.
2 months later they have still done nothing and they don't keep in contact with me, I have to keep asking them for an update. Terrible customer service as soon as something went wrong. Also they banged up my furniture and bike. They won't deliver your stuff until you pay so basically once you have paid there is nothing you can do.
They have lost my photographs and personal art and they don't seem to care to do anything about it.

The angry men unloading the van literally THREW my belongings down the basement stairs. Scratched and broke every piece as if they had a 'wreck it' quota.
Do NOT hire them no matter what they quote. It is a lie.
I an the husband of Linda. We finally got our stuff boxes and bins all broken. We too believe we were overcharged for the weight. Only furniture we had was a microwave, TV and a cat tree rest was boxes and bins which only one or two were heavy. They said our weight was 2500 lbs no way as I said no furniture cause we wanted to pay very little so we got rid of it. Our TV is broken we had it wrapped tightly in a TV box and a whole box of dishes broken I had wrapped with bubble wrap and towels. Never use this company they rip you off.
Worst move ever!! Lily very nice and professional to begin with, very sympathetic when everything ...and I mean everything goes wrong then offers $86 dollars for lost and damaged belongings.
Movers showed up 4 hours late, but before they came they called at 22:30 hours and asked me to make phone calls to get movers to help. They were quite distressed that I had no one to call. (If I knew movers what would I need them for? They then came in a smaller truck, I had stated I had a 4 bedroom house to move, they emptied their truck into the street, moved my belongings onto the front grass, and into the back yard while I ran round and tagged every box as they didn't have time. They then stated I needed to pay for plastic coverings for all my furniture as the company wouldn't take fabric furniture unless it was wrapped in plastic - then they didn't use the wrap and when the furniture was returned to me damaged and filthy, Lily stated dirty wasn't covered - no compensation for that. Happy to supply pictures of damages, written responses, and all correspondence from this company.
Almost all furniture was damaged, and when they offered 86.00 as compensation for thousands of dollars of damage due to their negligence, Lily won't come to the phone while her assistant laughs. They did not supply the weigh bill as requested as I was surprised that the weight was so heavy. Although not an expert when I asked for a quote on 4 bedroom house, they sent quote based on 4000 lbs, I upped the quote to 6000 lbs and it came in over 10000 lbs. They also tried to give me the barbecue that ripped the sectional couch, a 42 inch tv that belonged to someone else, and 2 boxes that were someone else's property. No wonder they didn't 'find' my missing property.
