Now trading as Lincoln Group of Companies the initial demo was completed and then the problems started. Materials were not purchased and delays began, eventually offering a refund and then nothing.
Appears to be moving around - in this case owner is Sebastian Ianas. DO NOT USE!
Hired as Dimond Renos another one of his aka's. Took 90% of the money- did not finish the job. What was done was done poorly, plumbing was not correct- sewage smell coming from tub- no trap. Also stole receipts for merchandise we had reimbursed him for. All work done had to be completely removed and redone. All material used was ruined. This man and his son need to be put in jail for being rip off artists.
Same guy introduced himself as Paul Dimond at Dimond Renos. Showed papers for Ashbridge Contracting and stole thousands of dollars. I will gladly join any lawsuit against him. What a dirty person. Do not trust him or give him anything to do. Will steal your money and materials and leave you in a mess which btw you have to pay twice to someone else to cleanup.
I'll keep it short and simple. Sebastian Ianas is a con-artist. He has opened multiple companies (ie smart renos, pnr contracting and now ashbridge contracting). He has a partner by the name of Robert Martell. They hire workers from Kijiji for 2 weeks and make them show up on job sites to make it seem like he has a big company. When they take most of a clients downpayment for their job site they just take off and leave you with a giant mess. They don't pay their workers and have been blacklisted from most tool rental places. They can't build not even a fence. They failed to finish our deck and took snapshots from google saying they could build garages. All I know is this guy is waiting to get a major law suit. Stay away from Sebastian Ianas and Rob Martell. They can't even close a door. It's all smoke and mirrors.
BIG FRAUD COMPANY , FRAUD GUY. I have hired Sebastian from Ashbridge contracting to for laminate and tile flooring in my house, He committed to finish entire job in 2 weeks, and job should start from jun,29. Meanwhile he introduced me Rob from P & R conracting as his partner and told me that he will take care of my project. On june,29 Rob came and started ripping off the old floor but after that one week no body show up , week after sebastian got some other guys and started laminate flooring. he finished laminate flooring and demolish bathroom because we have to put new tiles in it. He asked me for some payment to buy material. which I paid then suddenly no body shows up for 2 weeks, no answer from sebastian or Rob. I have attempted so many phone calls, text messages , emails. no reply. I have to hire another contractor to finish my work and pay extra. Sebastian ran away after taking money, and I think Rob also does the same thing , gets money from people and run away, after some time start new business with new name. Thank you Larry from Toronto for sharing/posting pictures of this guy Sebastian. so people be alert.
Avoid this "company" like the plague. We hired Sebastian Ianas (who can also be found online with aliases including Mike Manning and Sebastian Manning as well as being the head contact for "Smart Renos" and "Wesmar Contracting"). Despite promising to finish renovating our basement plus some work on the main floor by end of June he never met the deadline. Very courteous, always seemed on the ball and going the extra yard in the basement (which the tradesmen did a good job with, BTW) but he took our money and ran, leaving our house in a mess. We paid for bathrooms to be completed as well as closets to be fitted out, a kitchen island (never delivered), kitchen drawers installed with sliders - the list goes on. When he discovered a leak in our roof (we had recently purchased the property) he quoted $4000 to replace the shingles and we agreed. He said the roof was in very poor condition and went ahead and finished without quoting or formally invoicing for more money and why would he anyway? $4,000 was the quote. We paid everything up front and after finishing the roof he abandoned the inside of the house, left everything else unfinished. He went out of contact and it was only when another client of his contacted me because they were having major problems with him that he resurfaced to abuse me for talking to one of his clients and to request $3500 to finish what we had already paid for. He had the gall to ask for $3000 up front and assured he would finish by a certain date (he is a liar and he never finished anything when he said he would) and said that would only leave me $500 to pay at the end of the job. He even asked why I did not trust him. Too funny. I told him to finish first but of course he would not. He then threatened me with a lien on my house - for WHAT? His partner, Rob Martell of P and R Contracting also threatenend us with the police and legal action if we let anyone onto the "companies site" (his misspelled wording) - our own house in other words! This was after I had sent a text to Sebastian asking for the materials we had paid him for and were never delivered so that we could organise our own labour. This guy is very smooth, comes across as the genuine article so be careful. No contracts (stupid me, not that it would have meant anything to him anyway) and he will tell you he has 40 men working for him and how he lives in a million dollar home. I have since learned he has not paid his workers on several sites, has left many sites unfinished and that he is being investigated for fraud.
He claimed to own a $1.2m house a few blocks away from Farley Crescent.
His business address is not on his business card. On his invoice it is listed as 56 Lloyd Manor Dr Etobicoke, Ontario N8X 2B9 which is a house not occupied by him and hardly worth $1.2m.
On Trusted Pros it says Ashbridge Contracting is affiliated with Wesmar Contracting which has the same phone number that Sebastian uses - 416-818-0319. The address for this company is Warrender Ave, Toronto ON M9B 5Z6.
A search also associates Sebastian with a company named Smart Renos - again, the address is 41 Warrender Ave Toronto ON M9B5Z6. This is an apartment block. Same phone number is used - 416-818-0319. The main contact name here is Mike Manning. Just the same, it could be the address of his accountant by what's the apartment number? Not listed. It is an apartment block.
On the BBB website, Ashbridge Contracting has these details: 264 Wellington Ave, Windsor ON N8X2B9, 519-903-2677. There is one complaint listed as the business failing to respond to a dispute. This is the same company as they use the same logo.
I contacted BBB to complain and was notified that their letter was returned as there is no business at that address in Windsor.
So far there have been three of his former clients contact me as he had also taken money from them without finishing the work. A few tradesmen have been in touch with me also to see if I knew his address. They had not been paid.
We hired Wesmar Contracting, Mike(Sebastian) after interviewing many other contractors to complete a demolishing job for a 17 x 60 ft fire wall that separates an office and warehouse space. They did a great job in removing the bottom half (first 10 foot) of the wall and insuring the top half from falling down by putting support pillars. He did the job with his son and a fellow contractor Rob. We also requested additional work for laminate flooring which Rob completed very quickly. Additionally they also helped rebuild a washroom entrance and plumbing to fit the new space arrangement and build 2 tree houses required for my business. Overall I would work with Mike again as his team does great work very quickly with excellent price. I would recommend him to my friends and family. The only down side is that his team did not really help with the cleanup after the work was completed and left in a hurry.
Thank you my friend
