Atera Construction came highly recommended by a co-worker and friend who had used them for various home renovation projects over the past few years. We brought them on board to help us plan out and undertake the work which consisted of popcorn ceiling removal, installation of new hardwood floors (incl. levelling and squeak elimination), reconstruction of stairways (conversion from carpet to hardwood), installation of crown moulding / wainscotting, two complete bathroom renovations, and painting of our entire 3600 sq. ft house. Liviu is very much a hands on owner who takes charge to ensure the customer's needs are addressed every step of the way. He worked closely with us throughout the entire process and provided us with much needed guidance and recommendations when it was needed most. Liviu's attention to detail and high standards for workmanship is second to none and he prides himself on doing things properly without cutting corners. His sub-trades were all experienced experts in their field and with Liviu's management and guidance were all able to complete their respective portions on time and with a high level of workmanship and quality. With the first stage of the renovation now finished, we have already begun working with Liviu to plan out our kitchen renovation. Liviu and staff with L.A. Floor did an EXCEPTIONAL job from start to finish. This is not our fist time hiring them. They have completely redone our entire second floor, fully refinished our stairwell with custom cut curved steps and beautifully finished handrail. We also had original flooring resanded, stained and ended with a matte finish and it totally updated the rooms!

They are professional, removed excess materials, and cleaned up at the end of each day which made the “renovation process” flow with ease.
