Had a moderate sized renovation done (bathroom reno, carpentry and plumbing with some electrical & drywall)

Less than a year later we have had issues with work being done, we had a installation error the first time, which Bamco came out and dealt with repairs. We have since had a second significant plumbing leak and a lifting counter top in multiple places.

I have not called them back to repair these other items as I'm not confident in their abilities to get the job done right.

Brian came in and could have charged us an arm and leg for work we didn’t need. He didn’t. That’s integrity. He was prompt, professional and excellent to deal with. I’ve dealt with a lot of contractors. Good ones are worth their weight in gold. Brian is one of those. I’ll be asking him back for anything he can do (which seems to be pretty much anything). Highly recommended.

Brian did a wonderful job finishing our basement! From electrical to plumbing to drywall, Brain can do it all. We especially love what he did with our downstairs washroom. If you want a beautiful bathroom, Brian is the contractor for you.

We have used Brian Medwin on 2 different projects that required carpentry, expert tile setting, and plumbing expertise. We have found him a good communicator, very reliable, professional quality in everything he tackles, and well above average about leaving a clean work space as he progresses.

I had a ceramic tile kitchen backsplash installed by Brian. I wanted a simple white tile in a stacked design, nothing too fancy, but the end-result was clean, classic and elegant, just what I wanted. Brian was professional from start to finish. He quoted on the project without delay, scheduled the work and got it done within a couple of weeks. I had tried to do some of the work myself but after realizing that I didn't have the knowledge or know-how to do the job, i found Bam-co contractracting. Brian has excellent skills at what he does, he has great communication skills,and a great attention to detail and he was at my home every day until the job was done. Extremely happy with my shower reno, every day I look at it I love it more and more. I have no problem sharing the Bam-co name and telling friends and relatives what a awesome job Brian did.

In a nutshell: Brian was a pleasure to work with. He has a great design sense and made excellent suggestions that really took our bathroom to the next level. His workmanship is top-notch, and he's an excellent communicator. His customer service is also exceptional (he came by promptly to make a minor adjustment). He's basically our go-to guy for any home projects now.

The long story: We started our basement bathroom renovation project with another contractor, but they kept putting our project off, cutting corners, giving bad advice and just generally being unreliable. After finally firing them, we started looking for someone to take over the project and bring it to completion.

That's where Brian came in. He took over the project, fixed up the previous contractor's mistakes, and provided us with sound advice. We're also not the greatest designers, and he gave us options and designs that we'd never even considered. He kept us fully informed throughout about necessary changes to the project to fix mistakes, and was totally upfront about what additional changes we decided to make would cost. There were no surprises and no overages that we didn't specifically agree to upfront.

What's more, the work was impeccable. He's got a great eye for both details and the overall look, and our new bathroom is beautiful. We couldn't be happier!
