Alex Kopp, previously operating as AOK Contractor, now Big Alex Excavating & Construction Service, gave an estimate of $6000 - $6300 for some interior framing, drywalling, kitchen cabinet install, tiling, and wall painting in April 2014. Renovation dragged on to June 2014, asked for 83% payment ($5000), finished some framing, most drywall, but none started for the rest promised. On June 10, 2014, informed me we would not finish the work due to being out of business. I expressed my dismay, he would not respond afterward.
He started off as a friendly knowledgeable contractor, in the process being absent most of the time and asking for high amount of advance base on trust, ended leaving job mostly not started and disappearing.
I will not hire or recommend this company / person to anyone.
