I was referred to Kris and his team by my property management at our townhouse complex near Yonge and Sheppard.
Kitec plumbing is extensive in the complex and we found out we had it in our unit. We wanted to make sure we went with a good contractor.
They had their work cut out for them- we have a stacked townhouse unit with plumbing running from the top (3rd floor) and down about 2 levels.
They did a great job. The plumber really put in a lot of attention to detail installing new Wirsbo (Aquapex/PEX-A) pipe. He even covered the toilet supply pipe lines with a chrome sleeve- nice touch.
The drywall contractor really went out of his way to make sure we were happy when everything was closed up and painted.
I know that BMI and Krijoh have extensive experience with Kitec replacement. Definitely consider them if you need to replace your Kitec pipes.
I was referred to BMI by my property management at my condo in Lakeshore Blvd West. Honestly. these guys were one of the best companies I have ever worked with. Their team was respectful and curteous, their technicians were incredibly knowledgeable and helpful, and the job was done very well. My unit needed to be replaced, and BMI took care of the whole replacement process quickly and efficiently. I would not hesitate to use BMI again and have recommended them to all of my friends and family!
The service is very bad. I am blind. I live at 1177 Yonge Street. I made a stupid mistake by not sticking with the old company when I could have. They kept giving me the runaround. I wanted this work done when I was away, but they didn't finish it when I was away. They told me the faucet would be replaced last Tuesday because they didn't have a faucet. They finally replaced the faucet today. They stayed longer than they said they would. Then they told me they would come back to replace the tiles. I got an email saying that I had to find another company to replace the tiles. They also used up all my toilet paper and I don't have any toilet paper now. They also don't take credit cards and that makes things very difficult as I am blind as I have to go to the bank and get cash. I would not recommend this company to anyone. Stay away.
