We called Busato Woodworking to do our bathroom renovation. I wanted to remove my bath tub and make a easy access shower.l couldn't have asked for a better result. From beginning to end things went smoothly and we love our new bathroom.
Thanks John
Mary
We love the custom vanity that John made for our family bathroom. It was likely the easiest reno that we've ever done. Installation was quick and painless, and the vanity itself still looks amazing after several years. We will use Busato Woodworking again, not question.
I’m surprised by these reviews. Disappointing renovation that took a full year to complete due to poor workmanship and repair or replacements needed. There were many minor issues but the major issues were as follows:
The island wasn’t put in the correct place because the design blueprint was not followed. It was found in large garbage bin on driveway three days after construction began. The island had to be moved due to code as it was too case to the fridge, tiles were broken to move plumbing.
Every cabinets door was replaced due to either cracking from screws torqued too much on hinges or bubbling of wood veneer.
Approximately 35 porcelain tiles replaced due to lippage, defects or lack of adhesion. All grout replaced as it wasn’t mixed properly.
This contractor did fix most of the issues but there are a few still outstanding with no response from contractor.
This was a $40,000 full kitchen renovation which I was expecting would have far better workmanship and professionalism. I would not recommend this contractor.
Busato Custom Woodworking was suggested to us by a friend when we were contemplating doing a kitchen and main floor renovation. We were able to easily coordinate a time with 2 shift workers in our home and John's busy schedule for a home visit. We immediately felt very comfortable with him. He was easily able to visualize a new and so much improved kitchen and the upgrades that we wanted to do to the rest of our main floor. One of the reasons we ended up booking John was because he was the only custom cabinetry guy that would act as a general contractor. As we had no previous renovation experience, we were grateful for his contacts and his ability to plan when each of the trades were needed.
Covid brought delays in our expected start date, but John kept in touch with us and kept us informed along the way as to when to expect him. Our reno took about 6 weeks from start to finish. John and his employee Chris were great to work with. They put up with our millions of questions, we shared more than a few laughs and most importantly the quality of the work is outstanding.
We are thrilled with our space. Our cabinets are beautiful! It was completely worth the wait and covid delay. We most certainly would put John at the top of our list of people to contact for any further renovations.
DREAM KITCHEN ACHIEVED! John and his crew brought my dream to life. His workmanship is amazing, from tearing down walls to laying floors, putting up a backsplash to building my custom cupboards, it is all awesome. He offered suggestions when I needed them and took my suggestions and made them work. There isn't a day that goes by that I don't comment on how much I love my new kitchen! Thank you again John!
Thank you Audra, it was my pleasure working for you and Jim.
We hired John and it's team to do an indoor and outdoor kitchen for my son's wedding. John provided a detailed estimate which outlined the work and finishes he was using. He completed the jobs on time and within budget. We can highly recommend John and his crew.
We met with 4 different companies and received 4 quotes, before hiring Busato Woodworking. While their quote was not the cheapest it was comprehensive, any additional costs would be from add-ons of our choice. We stayed on budget, which was huge for us and they finished on time, which was also a big factor. We are extremely pleased with the quality of workmanship, the basement apartment is gorgeous! We really appreciated the quality of materials used and the vendors we were sent to, to choose tile, flooring etc. were quality places and they all knew John personally which speaks volumes. We were also very happy with the constant communication, we appreciated being kept up to-date throughout the project. We would highly recommend John and his team because they do great work and they’re honest!
John first created a walk-in closet from the adjacent bedroom. His work was exceptional and the project turned out extremely good. The next project we did was a bathroom which was completely renovated. This project again showed the highest quality of workmanship and professionalism. After these projects we just called John for additional work because we know the quality and fair price that we will be receiving. We just finished renovating another bathroom and the kitchen. These projects again turned out amazing. I highly recommend John for any of your renovations or new projects.
Thank you Val, always a pleasure working for you and Ian.
