We were so fortunate to have Dan respond to our post looking for someone to assist in the removal of an existing kitchen sink. I’m sure he thought he would be in and out in a couple hours until our old sink proved him wrong. It was indeed a very difficult job but Dan persevered and finally was able to cut it out. He was concerned about the dust and suggested we cover our furniture. Other contractors had declined their services for fear of damaging our 10’x4’ quartz island countertop…Dan did an amazing job and was determined to install the new sink with no damage to our countertop.

We cannot thank him enough….after the installation of the new sink he returned a day later to tackle the plumbing hookup which was also somewhat problematic. But all good now and we love our new sink.

We anticipated an increase in cost due to the additional amount of time spent to remove the old sink..it took close to 4 hours. We had no issue with this as we could see the challenges and difficulties he was encountering.

We have no hesitation in recommending Dan or using his services again.

We loved the overall work that Dand from Canadan Construction did for us.

The job was segregated into segments in order to pivot for any reason, it took about 3 phases in order to get the entire project done.

Dan worked with us on the design and the budget.

Our budget ended up being more than anticipated but only because we decided to get a full finished job rather than just a few necessary items. Worth every cent.

Dan was flexible throughout the entire project, stayed late only when needed, and the entire crew was respectful and courteous. I am looking forward to hire Canadan Construction for our next project.

This is a revision to a previous review for a bathroom renovation by Canadan Construction. Although the overall finished work was mostly satisfactory, this job required more sourcing on my part than what was initially agreed to, as well as more touch-ups by me after the work was completed, and even required an HVAC company to come in and repair some duct work that was not done properly. This extra duct work that was needed was brought to the attention of Canadan Construction and an opportunity was given to him to address it. Canadan Construction opted to ignore my request. Consequently, the HVAC repair cost added up to approximately $1000.

I would not recommend Canadan Construction.

Canadian Construction Ltd did a fine job. They were polite and did their job. I'm happy with the result.

Reasonable pricing, quality work, project was done as per original schedule, went a bit over budget, but can be justified because of additional additional scope.

We have used Canadian Construction Ltd. on two separate occasions. Both experiences were great. The company owner is prompt, courteous and cares about his clients. The work performed in our rec room and basement shower was meticulously done and clean up was seamless. The one scuff mark we did find on one floor board was immediately replaced the following day. We would absolutely recommend this contractor. We will definitely be calling Dan the owner for our next renovation job.

I am more than happy with the work done by Dan & Steve on this bedroom. The space has slanted ceilings and was not an easy space to drywall. As well, some electrical work was also required. Every bit of work they did was done professionally, with top quality workmanship. Also, there was virtually no mess left behind once the job was completed, and the job was finished quickly and in the time quoted to me. All in all, I could not be happier with the results, and would most definitely recommend both Dan & Steve to anyone needing renovation work done. They were both a pleasure to deal with.

Dan was a first class general contractor...easy to work with, knowledgeable, reliable, and fairly priced unexpected contract extras.

Based on my experience I would have no hesitation in recommending him highly.

Canadan Construction took the construction of a basement suite, from the gutted basement to the finished product ready-to-rent, obtaining permits from the city at every stage from drawings, framing, electrical, heating and ventilation, to final painting, subcontracting other trades as needed.

Dan and his team did a great job scraping our popcorn ceilings of our new home. Scraping ceilings is a tough job but Dan and his team took the time and demonstrated great expertise in scraping and redlining the ceilings. They are perfectly done and we have received many comments from family and friends on the quality of the work.
