If I could give a review of 1000 % this is what I would give to Canadian Property Care, Emilio and his Staff went well over and beyond to help me get this done, the job was done exceptionally well, I loved the end result, and will definitely use this Company again and refer to anyone I know.

Emilio and his crew built us beautiful fencing with a gate for our backyard in only 2 days. They were professional, efficient and a pleasure to deal with. We split the cost of one fence with a neighbor and Emilio was great with dealing with our neighbor as well, who was also very happy with their work. We would not hesitate to recommend them to others.

This spring, we desperately needed to build two walls of property fence between our two neighbors. We were wary of contractors that could not commit to a price for a reasonable period of time or who refused to indicate the brand or source of their building materials.

Canadian Property Care (CPC, Emilio) was quick to volunteer the brand of materials from the start, he outlined the process he follows when working with a customer, and he gave assurances that once we sign and honor a quote, securing that price is his responsibility. He was also able to provide a start-date and anticipated end-date in the contract.

We had a week to sign off on the quote, and there was no unusual sales pressure. Through this time, I called and emailed Emilio with questions about our fence and the deck. I was very impressed that if he didn’t answer his phone, he would always call me back. He also responded to emails during the evening.

As part of my due diligence, I also checked out CPC’s Facebook and Instagram posts, and it was very reassuring to see his projects being posted as they were being completed.

Lumber prices have been on the rise, and demand for construction services are very high. We were pleasantly surprised that he could get started on our fence within a matter of weeks after the quote. Emilio was able to send a crew to get started a day earlier than expected.

Our fence is 6’ tall, and I verified that each post was dug to 38” by hand. The wood labeling also confirmed all the materials were exactly as promised.

Emilio’s crews were very reliable. They arrived between 8AM and 9AM each morning and worked to the end of day. This was not a case of them doing bits and pieces and moving between properties before the job was complete.

Even with snow flurries, the work continued. Their whole team was a well-oiled fence building machine, and they visibly enjoyed the work.

Everyone was happy with the quality of the fence construction. However, the wood’s pressure treatment was uneven, and we were missing a middle rail for the fence’s framing.

I emailed Emilio that night with pictures of the fences. I didn’t criticize the wood; I just asked if this is normal and if it would look more balanced once the pressure treated wood had the opportunity to dry more.

Emilio called me the next morning. First, the rail was getting added to all the fences at no extra cost to us. Next, he told me that he was at the lumber yard complaining about the wood and that it really didn’t look the way it should. Our first conclusion was that the wood was saturated in treatment and it would balance out after some time. Emilio offered to stain the wood at no extra cost to us later in the summer.

We would have been OK with the staining option, and I sent Emilio more fence pictures for stain color matching. The next morning, Emilio called me to tell me he is taking the fences down. Emilio was so dissatisfied with the way the fences looked with the saturated wood, that he arranged to have it all replaced under warranty with new wood so that it looks great from the start.

Our second new fence looks amazing, and all my neighbors are happy that we chose Canadian Property Care over the other options available to us.

We researched several contractors before finalizing on Canadian Property Care. Their pricing was competitive, they answered questions the way we expected a qualified contractor to answer them, and most importantly, they took great pride in their work through the whole process. They were their customer’s champion.

Our next project is going to be a deck. That is also going to be an adventure during these pandemic times, and I’m looking forward to sharing our results once it’s complete.

I’ve shared pictures of our old fence, our first new fence with the defective wood, and the final fence that Canadian Property Care built for us. We are very pleased all around!

Emilio and his crew built our new fence. We are very happy customers!! They were flexible with timing, given the cold weather. The job was completed with great care, on budget and on time. Emilio helped us with a full bathroom remodel and finished work quicker than expected. He did the entire demo in one day, framing the next, insulation and wiring the third, tiling and plumbing the fourth, and was done by day 5. His work is thorough and professional and he explains everything every step of the way! He picked up all supplies, arrived with everything he needed, finished quicker than he promised, and was the best price out of 4 estimates I got. Will rely on him for future projects as well.

On Sunday, I went over to my neighbour’s to tell him that we need to replace a shared fence (It’s falling down and it looks bad). He agreed. I posted it on trustedpros.ca and within minutes, I received a quote from Emilio and several others. Emilio presented a fair price and was less expensive than every other quote and looked to be highly rated so I decided to hire him. On Monday morning, the old fence was removed and posts were installed. On Tuesday, the fence was completed. I am blown away. Emilio is professional, responsive, fair and a true craftsman. I highly recommend Emilio and Canadian Property Care. Real pros!

Emilio and his team removed an old fence, installed a new fence. His response time was impressive, all through the project he did what he said would do, on time and on budget. The team was very courteous on the job site.

Emilio was beyond professional and extremely open to changes and suggestions. He ran into challenges with trees causing difficulty in the job and he took on the challenge with such positivity and perseverance that I was thoroughly impressed - excellent job would hire him again.

Emilio and his team are professional, skilled and hardworking. My family were in an unthinkable situation involving a shared fence that a previous contractor failed to construct. Emilio came in immediately after responding to my request; provided an incredibly reasonable quote and showed up two days later to get the job done in 6 hours. We now have a beautiful fence and regained safe use of our yard again. I also contacted Emilio shortly after for contacts to other trades people, he offered his support and showed up to give us his insight.
