Beware !!!. We recently had these services done. They state in their ad furnace tune up. NOT EVEN CLOSE. The furnace was not tuned up they blow air that"s its. After they left I had no heat over night. We had to call someone in to repair it. The carpet cleaning was quick and they missed some spots. I took some pics after they left where they missed. I actually got the stain out very easily myself. There was not care with their equipment because they scratched my dark staircase with their hoses. The duct work now, again they state before and after pics, did not happen, and they left a huge mess.
$725 dollars later, not happy with the service, the owner said he would refund some of my money, has not happened.
Do not get this company!!!!!!
I am shocked at your review and to be honest a little offened abut your exagerated lies. I must say if you had theses complaints why were they not addressed at the time of service. Could it be that you agreed to have the work done then complain by bullying someone into a refund?
In regards to you having no heat. When I returned the very next day (45 min drive) after your text about the furnace not working I found the thermostat was turned off. I turned it on and your furnace ignited right away. There was no charge for that service which I could have charged you for, being a stand up owner I decided not to. Your furnace was never serviced in 5 years even knowing your manual states to have it serviced on an annual basis. Our furnace tune up by the way involves more than blowing air as you state. The blower is cleaned the flame sensor is cleaned and all safety sensors are tested. That in this industry is a furnace tune up we offer it to our customers for $69.00 while the ducts are being cleaned. That is what is done for a tune up. You were not present when this was being done as your husband was. Pictures of the clean ducts were also shown to your husband.
In regards to your carpet cleaning complaint. There is no GUARANTEE OF STAIN OR ODOUR REMOVAL it is stated on the invoice where you signed your approval. Not sure where the stain is that you are talking about and showed me in a picture. Under the bed or dresser? The duct cleaning complaint is hard for me to believe as there was no mess that i seen as i walked around when we were finished. Just so you know i had a new employee with me that i was training do you honestly expect me to believe i would leave your house in such a horrible state while im training someone new? I dont think so.
Now inregards to your dark staircase, our hoses are made of solid rubber and any connectors are covered there is no chance of our hoses causing any damage to any surface that is how they are made. When your husband was holding the hose I explained he did not have to hold it it does not scratch any surface it made of rubber!!.
In short Mrs. Donavan I did offer you a refund of $69 for the furnace tune and $50 off your carpet cleaning bill. You wanted 50% !! After taking in to consideration i did not charge you tax on the $725 as I do not charge tax to police officers, firemen/woman/ nor Military personal. With you saving $94.25 plus $250.00 plus HST for a service call to come the next day and turn on your thermostat I feel that your refund is applied. I have been more than fair with you and your complaints.
Today I had Canuck Services for duct cleaning in our house. The first technician who came was very friendly, knowledgeable and covered his shoes after the heavy rain last night. The second technician arrived short after. When I kindly asked him to please cover his shoes he declined to do so as: I am the owner, I know what I do! Really? An owner's shoes are not getting dirty? All in all the owner was very unfriendly and we would never ever hire him again. Rating is based on experience with the owner.
First of all thank you for your business. Sorry you felt that I was unfriendly. The reason for my standoffish attitude towards you was only due to the fact that when I told you about my shoes being clean they were I only use hem for inside customers homes. my other shoes were outside. You were more concerned about mice getting into your house which was also explained to you that with the door being open there was no guarantee of them not entering your home. a 30 FOOT red runner is laid out from the front door throughout the entrance to ensure that shoes are dry and cleaned. I noticed there was no mention of that in your review nor the help I gave your husband for free in regards to your furnace. You are half correct about your complaint of me being unfriendly when I was trying to explain to you that my shoes were clean you starting speaking to your husband in German in front of me. Just so you know I speak German and was shocked at what you were saying to him and thought you were being very rude with your comments about me. Before you call Anyone names in a different language you might want to see if that person understands what you are saying. You were very rude to Jason and myself from the time of arrival I did my best to provide you with exceptional service as we always try to do unfortunately you and I did not see eye to eye as I had a hard time talking to you as I was always interrupted. Its hard to be over friendly when you can not do any right in some ones eyes. In short Erwin gain I do thank you for your business.
