Carl seems to know what he's doing, but he used two very junior guys to do the work for us. Maybe he was really busy, and we did book on very short notice. Also, I was not present for most of the time that the work was being done and this may have made it more difficult for him to communicate with us. I think he could have done a better job of updating us and checking on what we actually wanted done.
Overall, we were not happy with the work. The scope of work expanded quite a bit from the original quote and the quality was not what we expected. I really think this was due to the use of inexperienced junior people on our project.

Darrin has done multiple task around my home for me and highly recommend him for any service u may need done.
Darrin is not only a very good worker he is pleasant to deal with. Pricing is reasonable.

I liked Carl's Contracting Service because he promptly attended to assess my question with a previously installed hardwood floor that I was told by the original installer would all need to be pulled up to repair, thus replacing. Carl was prompt in attending, walked me through so I was comfortable with the work required (which was not pulling up all my floor) and completed quickly. I also had the pleasure of Carl's Contracting to remove and install a new large second story picture window. Again he walked me through my options and costs. Job was neat and beautifully finished. Nice fellow, reliable.
