We hired CBM to do our renovations on a recommendation of our daughter, for whom Manny Arias had done some minor work a few months before to her complete satisfaction. That turned out to be a wise decision.

Manny helped us decide what it was we really wanted and prepared a budget which we approved. Work started the first week of February 2019 and was completed in six weeks, which was exactly what Manny had estimated at the get go. Total cost was also very close to what Manny originally estimated, with only some variations for changes we introduced and Manny was able to accommodate us. Not only are we satisfied with how the work done and with the final results, but were also very much impressed with Manny's handling of the entire project in an honest way. We were able to see specific instances in which Manny obtained a discount from a supplier and passed it straight to us, something rarely seen in this industry.

We certainly recommend CBM for any construction or renovation project.

I have contracted Manny from CBM Renovations various times. What stood out the most in him, is his responsibility, punctuation, respect and curtesy. The prices are very accessible and competitive.

The last job Manny did in my home, was to add a shower in an already existing, small, washroom in my basement, where it seemed like there would be no possible way, or space for a shower to be added.

He took the time to sit down and discuss with me the possibilities, with a lot of patience, and he was honest about turning down any ideas that I had that may have damaged my house because it risked the room next door, even though this harmed his price.

He was able to break and move walls without ruining the size of the room behind it and we are honestly extremely happy with his work. Nobody can believe that is it the same washroom, or that we would have been able to put a shower (it's not even a small one), in that little washroom. He was able to use the space in a great way.

I definitely recommend Manny, and I will continue to contract him.

I have seen some not so good reviews, and I can't comprehend why they didn't talk to Manny if something didn't come out the way they wished. He is a very accessible person to speak with, and I have no doubt that he would fix any mistakes or simply fix/change something that didn't end up the way the client wanted it as much as possible.

Great work for a full Bathroom renovation; it was done in an excellent time frame and when we were not at home, the only problem was it was dusty.

I hired Manny and CBM to help me flip a couple different houses in Mississauga, Oakville, Hamilton and Cambridge.

Our experience with CBM was an absolute disaster. The work was sloppy, slow and not as requested. It worked lacked any sense of pride or professionalism. I can honestly say that hiring Manny and CBM was one of the worst experiences of my life. Please save yourself the stress and frustration and DO NOT put your home, money or trust in the hands of these clowns!

Not much more than a year after Manny redid our main bathroom (gutted back to concrete) including plumbing, tile, drywall, painting, we had a leak. The soldering on the pipes had let go and we had to pay for renovations to the unit below ours.

During the renovation he was slow, disorganized, purchased materials already onsite (thereby costing us twice for some materials) and did not really seem like he knew what he was doing. It also took much longer than estimated.

The shower doors are not installed correctly. The tiles are not level. The spacing between tiles is not even. The light over the vanity is not centered. The painting is not great. The toilet rocked. The drain lever in the sink was never installed. The tile edging is improperly installed. The threshold was improperly set and has cracked.

He was cheapest and his references checked out. I will not go with cheapest again. I was so glad he was gone I did not make him fix what was wrong.
