They took a lot of the pain out of the whole process. For safety reasons, we needed the whole house rewired. We had melting outlets and fuses would blow unexpectedly. Had a few electricians give the same advice, rewire the whole house because a panel upgrade would not be enough for safety. It's a big, expensive and frankly scary project. Edin explained everything, told us what we needed and what were unnecessary upgrades but could be beneficial. He even honoured his original quote for us although we took forever to finally get things in order to go through with the job.

Edin was very knowledgeable and not just willing to answer any questions but would show us exactly what he was doing and why, especially when this older house of ours threw some unexpected surprises at him and his apprentice from behind the walls. He gave us details, explained options, put lights and outlets in places that were much more to our liking than the old installs (switches moved from behind doors, USB outlets in certain locations, more outlets than two per room). They even helped me move some of the bigger furniture and wall fixtures and would give me the run down of where to prepare for the next days work.

They were efficient while being understanding to us having to be in the house (working and school from home). They were very personable, humorous and polite making the whole process bearable. It was more like having coworkers in your house than contractors. Even after leaving for the day he made himself available for any questions or planning through text or phone call. Almost forgot that they made every effort to clean up before they left everyday and even arranged for someone to come in to do a further wipe down and clean a few days after the wiring was completed.

We are very happy that all the old burning and melting wiring, outlets and light fixtures are gone.

I found City Electric Ltd. through a job posting on TrustedPros. Edin called me and came out for a free estimate. He was very thorough and walked us through everything that would need to be done/upgraded to meet code since we are updating our kitchen.

If anything unexpected came up, or he wanted my input (pot light placement, etc), he came and got me before proceeding with the work since I am working from home at the moment.

Edin and his apprentice were super nice, knowledgeable and made sure everything was spotless at the end of the day. If you have any questions, Edin is easy to reach via email and will email you back right away.

Side note: I ran into a mishap where my EV Charging Plug got stuck in the port my car. Edin and his Apprentice went above and beyond to help me Google and try everything to get the plug to release before leaving for the day. Luckily for me, they figured it out and my car is free! :)

We had an issue at our house with an electrical circuit going out, without tripping the circuit breaker. We have newborns at home and knew this was a big safety hazard.

I received Edin's contact from a referral who had worked with him in the past. I called Edin in the morning and he promptly made an appointment to investigate our issue the same day in a few hours.

Great communicator, respectful and easy to work with (especially with babies crying in the house). He was clear on the process of how he would investigate and walked me through his logic along with way as we went through a series of tests.

He discovered a loose connection, which was a fire hazard since the circuit didn't break. He immediately secured the connection and tested again to make sure everything was working fine.

I would highly recommend Edin for any electrical issues, projects, etc.

I hired this team to install the pot lights in my entire house and all I can say i was super satisfied with work and quality that they have done at my place.I highly recommend City electric Ltd to everyone who needs anything done with services that this amazing company provides.

I called Edin to have a look at my rental property in Tottenham. It was a brand new home and I had just put tenants in there . It was just before Christmas and they realized that the power to the Dish washer and the washing machine was not connected.

I called Edin immediately to see if he was available , it was very important to me to get everything up and running for my tenants as they are newly weds with a 3 month old baby girl.

Edin came to the house the very next morning to help with the issues, he checked the break and noticed that the breaker was just not on the whole way and fixed that issue. He also noticed that a few of my connecting wires in the break were not tied in properly from the builder. He went in and fixed everything!! Taking the time to make sure there were no other issues throughout the house.

I went with City Electric LTD to change out my old fuse panel with breakers. Edin offered to come take a look at the job and provide a quote shortly after I posted the job on Trusted Pros.

I chose to go with Edins quote, as it was the most fair out of the quotes that I received.

When it came to the day of the upgrade Edin arrived on time and began the job promptly after some setup. He was more than willing to answer any questions that I had about the job, and explained what he was doing any why it needed to be done. After the job was finished and the panel was installed the work area was cleaned up and left the same as it was before.

All in all, Edin and City Electric provided excellent service with this job. And I will definitely be contacting them in the future if I am to be doing any more upgrades.
