Not too happy with Convertible at present
Purchased high end Carrier unit 10 yr warranty on parts and labour
A/C froze up one month after purchase and installation
Convertible knew we had a problem with our old A/C and that’s why it was being replaced Testing for problem was supposedly done and Freon topped up on new unit
Week later unit froze again at the height of summer heat
We were instructed to build a structure for rerouting of copper line which we did in 90F weather
House has been 82F for last 5 days and nights
we’re now told By HO an additional $600.00 must be paid to install new copper line or it won’t be repaired.
New equipment means new copper line??
“Contract” reads flush and treat Line set
We were told at time of purchase line would be tested and if viable they’d use it.
Why were,nt we made aware at time of purchase there could be additional costs????
My discussion with HO was one sided, not
permitted to speak and was rudely spoken over
Price point may not always be the best way to select a contractor.
in 2017 I called Convertible Heating and Air conditioning for furnace replacement. Michael visit me, look at furnace and we sign contract for installing: furnace, humidifier and drain pump.
Price was good (if it cheap don't expect good service)
Did fast job, but refuse to install humidifier, removed old one and did not install new.
I called them 10 or 20 times- no luck, no humidifier. So last winter I had 15-20% humidity in my house.
My point is:
1.They removed my old humidifier
2.They refuse to install new humidifier
3.In some places drywall and wall paint cracked and pill of because low humidity
4.They promise to install humidifier, but never come to my house after installing furnace
This year, after 10 calls, I give up and call another company, and they install it
in 2hrs.
Don't look on review Convertible Heating!!!! They get hi % paying 25$ for good review.

I called Convertible air on September 26/2016 and spoke to Sandy (owner). I got a very good price on a new furnace and his installers were there on September 28/2016. You would never know they were there they were so clean. This is the fourth system I have purchased from this company and I can honestly say I have never had a problem with the installs or the after market service. They are one of the best companies I have had to deal with over the years. I highly recommend them to my friends and colleagues.
