CPM Group Inc was hired by RH Design and Build to construct structural framing at 112 Algoma Street in south Etobicoke. The structure is composed of steel stud walls, steel floor joists, steel deck on top of joists and 3" of concrete on top of deck. CPM did a very professional job. The work was done as per drawings, with quality and on time. I'm happy to recomend CPM to anyone for framing work.

I was lucky to find the guys from CPM doing a renovation for my neighbour. They came and had a look at my job....took it on and made a fantastic renovation. It took longer than we anticipated but we knew there was a water issue - which they addressed and corrected and then did all the finishing work; rearranged the staircase, rebuilt the kitchen, put in new electrical, gas line/fireplace/tankless water heater. They redid the floor throughout the basement, added insulation, new drywall, new cabinetry and even gave us a new window over the stairway. Nothing was too difficult during the process - when a problem arouse, it just became a question of how to solve it and they always had a couple of options. They came when they said they would, bright and early, always ready to put in a good days work, always agreeable to my schedule and changes. The workers were pleasant, unobtrusive and eager to do a good job. The renovation is beautiful. the basement is warmer, dryer and a lovely living space...Thank You to Jay, Yucel, Hussen and all the subs and workers they brought in. A job well done, indeed!

CPM group is terrific. From initial quote, to changed finalized plans, Jay was flexible, provided great advice and gave us appropriate pricing. The job was finished on time with added extras finished within the original timeline. They will return to our house for more work next year, thanks CPM group for doing a great job!

We had already started the renovation project with a different contractor but unfortunately it was delayed due to personal circumstance. Jay from CPM Group Inc. took over the job and completed the project on time.

With experiences and expertise, Jay and his team have guided and assisted us in building our beautiful nail salon. They have demonstrated their professionalism by being transparent and committing to complete the project above and beyond our expectations and within the municipal building codes or standards. My wife and I have been well informed and updated throughout the process. We are very pleased with the outcomes as the price is reasonable with high quality of work.

We hired CPM Group to construct a new powder room on main floor + Basement Kitchen + basement renovation + new plumbing work for main floor washer and dryer.

The team includes Corey (admin) / Yucel (attention to detail) /Matt (on site PM) all three are very helpful and very open in all conversations. Yucel likes to do everything perfect as if it was his own house, takes care of minutest detail. Their workers were also helpful and polite.

Final work done to a good standard, pricing is competitive and they accommodate extra work as well. Timelines could be slightly longer than estimated but its normal I guess.

I would recommend this team for any house work.

My initial discussion with CPM Group started towards the end of June. The plan was to remove the old plaster ceiling and install new pot lights and drywall in our living room, kitchen and dining room. The whole space isn't more than 450 SQFT. The renovation was to start while I was on vacation for 2 weeks in late August. We had almost 2 months of planning and discussion.

To start, they said 4-5 days. Pretty sure it took a full 2 weeks. Good thing we were away . But that's not the real issue.

The real issue is that the final stages of the work. My wife and I are consistently reminded of the short comings of the final product. Examples includes the main light switch not being flush with brand new drywall they installed. It looks bad. There's also a hole in the ceiling that was not plastered, and a ceiling receptacle not flush to brand new drywall. With the ceiling receptacle being off, the new light fixture can't be made flush. The lights all work, but it just look lazy. CPM Group are fully aware of these items.

Other issues include a broken window they replaced with plexi-glass. I understand things happen during construction, but you advise your customer and fix the glass. Instead, I ended up telling them "I found it" and having to chase them down to fix it. It took 6 weeks to fix a 2 x 2 piece of glass. Check out the photo.

Additional issues include leaving knob and tube where knob and tube should have been replaced, and removing and covering up an essential power outlet that we just paid to have installed. Oh, and there was the dripping plaster we had to chip off everywhere before we could paint.

Then there is the column in the kitchen. We have a column (not weight bearing) that is roughly 1 x 2 feet in size. This was to be reduced if possible and was in the contract. After seeing a picture of the framing without drywall, it was more than possible to reduce it. Instead it was left as is. My guess is they didn't want to re-frame the column as they were already behind. CPM claimed they didn't want to expose the floor. I was on vacation, but I had phone and my email still worked and I can ensure nobody ever emailed or called to ask about the plan with the floor.

The guys at CPM are very nice, and quick to respond, but we are not happy with the final product. The worst part about most of the items mentioned is that they could have been avoided with better communication. There are "reasons" why CPM finished the work the way they did, but if I had been contacted during the reno, the final results would have been very different.

We hired CPM Group to construct a new detached garage because their pricing was fair and competitive and Corey/Yucel was always open and lighting fast to reply to my questions/concerns. Jay was the project manager onsite and it was clear that he cared about the quality of the work and was always willing to address any concerns I had. All the subs they worked with were polite, friendly and professional. I gave 4 stars for timeliness but this was partially my fault for adding more to the project (EIFS stucco to the main house) which caused delays. However, Corey and Yucel never said no to me and when something I wanted didn't fit into the budget they offered solutions to make it work. All in all, CPM Group did an excellent Job and went above and beyond to make us happy, they were always around and easy to get in contact with, I never felt like I was being scammed. I will definitely hire them for my future projects.

CPM Group worked with us to create an enclosed back deck area that worked in our budget, and exceeded our expectations.

We were very pleased with the efficiency of CPM Group who started our job within a week of finalizing the vision, and it was completed by their estimated deadline.

They listened to us to understand what we were hoping to achieve, and even took it a step further, offering ideas we hadn't considered for the design or construction, greatly improving the value of the space (i.e.adding siding on the deck wall that matches the house, when we had thought it would remain plain)

CPM Group renovated my laundry room and did a fabulous job. They were helpful, friendly and efficient. I would recommend them and use them again for future renovations.

I had to replace my existing balcony/deck above walkout basement and we hired CMP Group. It took them 2 days to finish (as promised). I am very happy with the work they did. Very professional and experienced (you can see when contractor has many years of experience and he loves when he does). Excellent customer service: I don't think I got any 'NO' on my many requests/corrections. It was always: 'yes, sure, no problem'. It seems like Jay cared about his company reputation. Good pricing and you can negotiate. I was present while they were working so I was often interrupted them with the questions/doubts and Jay took his time to explain my concerns. Added some pictures. Will use them again for my future projects.
