Prelude, Yes, it is true. The kitchen sink dropped out! An undermount sink, went poof. Not in the night, just in the day time. Picture this, turkey brining on one side, romaine lettuce leaves a quiet bath wash on the other side, this a belated Easter dinner for my three kids + one ( really nice girlfriend) and their schedules that miraculously coordinated and then the poof happened, .... the sink dropped out & with it the ensuing water damage. Kitchen and add in basement water damage followed. State Farm Insurance has Crawford Contracting Ltd. , from Pickering ON as their vetted, preferred, and #1 choice. Well deserved! This morning the Crawford team arrived in full force within an hour or so of the call. My place at present is airing out. They removed the wet carpet, ceiling/ drywall damage, sanitized areas, and fans are 'a' humming. A team of 6 arrived, Danielle at the forefront. Jeremy moments later. All courteous, unbelievably kind, efficient, ...& did I say professional? Respectful & yet wow... all team members so efficient. So trust this company. Talk about family and a long standing awesome ???? Canadian business. Shall update later with pics. I just had to post this evening and let all know they are impressive, genuine, knowledgeable. Their 4.8 star rating is well deserved. I say it should be 5 star.

We were very happy with the assessment that Crawford Contracting provided for the water leak in our basement. From the initial call we were made to feel like we were top priority. The assessment was very thorough and we were provided with a detailed explanation of the problem and the damages. We have been working on a plan to fix the problem and with the help of the Crawford Contracting team we understand what are options are and how to move forward with the next steps.

I would like to complement Crawford Contracting on the work they performed for me, we had to relocate the Furnace, A/C and Water Softener in order to renovate our basement, I had several other companies quote on this project but I found Crawford took the time to explain the work required including the code upgrades required, their follow-up after the work was completed was excellent and I have highly recommended them to associates and friends

We had a new roof put on our house this past summer, we also had used them to replace our electrical system in the fall of 2014. They were very helpful with great advice, very polite and courteous. Crawford Contracting did a great job repairing a recent roof leak to my home. Their staff was forthcoming, conscientious & efficient...and especially prompt, which in my view, kept the damage to minimum. Loved the no-nonsense, friendly professionalism. Crawford Contracting completed a large reno in our home last winter. We would not recommend using this company based on the quality of workmanship and lack of respect for our home and for us. We have since had 3 different opinions from other contractors, because we are in a position where we need to fix much of the work that was done, and the consensus from each was the same - the work is sloppy, rushed, and should never have been attempted by the individuals that completed it.

Crawford Contracting was hired to do a complete renovation of our ensuite bathroom. They helped with designing and choosing the materials, kept the work site tidy daily and stayed on budget. Our bathroom is truly remarkable. We would definitely hire and recommend Crawford Contracting to anyone wanting quality workmanship and design.

Jeremy and Gordon insulated my basement to comply with the guidelines of the government energy efficiency program. They insulated to R23 standards. Their work was outstanding and of the highest standards. The energy auditor who inspected my house after the work was done commented on the thoroughness and quality of the work done by Jeremy.

One was a bathroom renovation in a 25 year old home -the other, installation of laminate flooring and trim on the entire third floor of a townhouse. Jeremy did excellent work beyond my expectations. He arrived right on time every day and always kept me informed as to the status of my reno. He left every day so that there was no evidence he had even been there, other than in the room he was working in! Which is no small feat when working on the top floor of a multi-story house. The work was completed in the time he said it would take, for the amount he said it would cost. I have received many compliments on my beautiful new bathroom from everyone I have showed it off to!
