Daniel Macdonald, the contractor/CEO and engineer for the company, CRI Group Canada signed a contract with us for the removal and disposal of aluminum siding on private residence; installation of Canexel siding and applicable trim.
We gave him a deposit of $5000 via etransfer. Promises for start date(s) and promises on progression for the job were not kept. A portion of the aluminum siding was removed and sold for profit. Besides that, there was no other work done as per the contract.
Lack of communication, quality of service and not getting back to us in reasonable time outlines the problems we have with this individual and his company.

He created a contract in QC without an RBQ #...which is not legal. Therefor, any claim that it is not legal for his workers to work during certain times (which he did claim) is debunked with the fact that he does not have an RBQ #. There have been multiple complaints against him at the RBQ...I am not the only one that reported him.
On one of the days, he claimed to have a lift delivered on a flatbed to the worksite but then said it could not make it down the street. The company that he claimed made the attempt to get the flatbed down the street had no record of him, his company or anyone for that matter making a delivery to the worksite address.
Numerous changes to contact numbers for his company during the time of the contract and failure to follow through on providing a service summarizes the reputation this company and this individual have built for themselves.

It's Unfortunate that you had to give us such a negitive feedback, even more Considering the Harassments and threats I got from your wife, Witch is why your contract was Canceled with our firm, I have the text/email from your wife to prove this. My communication with both of you were very clear. All both of you did during the holidays was call or email us, even more knowing it is contruction holidays, and we are not allowed to work, even more, you contacted us in Aug 2016, and only signed a contract at the end of Oct to begin work Nove 14th 2016, why would anybody wait that long between estimate and contract signing is beyond me, you knowing signed it just as the bad weather hits and you try to blame us, even more Guy, you are your wife played a game, whereas one day you would bug me and the next your wife would, I was offten explaning things to both of you, so both you and your wife, were never on the same page. You where aware that the work was to begin on the 14th of November, it was moved up a week, due to your front door not being in yet, at witch I'd like to make a note here, that we came to install your front door at no charge to you, along with discovering an electrical issue when taking out your old door, and we again fixed that issue at no charge to you, so you got over $700.00 in free work, only because you guys complain like there is no tomorrow, by far the worse clients I've ever delt with, explains also why all the other contractors have no come back after doing your other work. So from November 14th until Dec 16th there was a total of only 4 good days to do siding, we made it there for 5 days, removed half of the siding, and did your front door, we are not mother nature and do not control the wheather. Between Dec 16-Jan 1, there is no work allowed to be performed as it is a legel holidays and we can be fined for working. Therefore, we are within our legel right and still had more then enough time to finsih. You signed a contract witch stats all this. Your siding materials costed us over $6,000, you provided us a depsoit of $5,000, After we send back your order, the restocking fee, our time, and your also now paying for the other work done at your house, plus admin fees, and other charges due to this, your actually now owe us $171.40 witch i have waved and this end ours relationship and closes our your file. I do hope that you both learn how to treat people that work on your house, it is shocking the way your people think you can just threaten people to get your way, this is in no way, the right way. BTW, the way you people conducted yourselfs, was more like you where trying to get a free job, I clearly saw right through it, and am really happy you showed your true colours before I had finished. On that note, I wish you all the best with your project!
