We had a waterline break and after the repairs we had to have the area where the waterline was dug up repaired. We had Curtis do the repairs and after a while we had cracking and settling issues on parts of the area they repaved. We contacted them and a representative came out to assess the damage. He wanted to deflect blame and said it was not the paving but settling that caused the damage. We pointed out that his crew did the paving and if they thought back filling/tamping was not properly done they should not have gone ahead with the paving. The representative promised to talk to the owner and get back to us. This was the last we heard from them.
Based on our experience I would not recommend Curtis Paving for any of your paving needs, Get someone else to do the work and set out in writing what you want done and the results you expect and remedies if there are issues.

Everyone that I came into contact with at Curtis Paving was helpful, polite, and did an excellent job at a reasonable price. When viewing the job and taking measurements, Mike Drummond gave me the option of a whole or partial repair, saying it was up to me. I opted for a full replacement without any pressure from Mike.

I am very impressed with the job done by Curtis Paving with regards to our parking area. It is large and has to accommodate our travel trailer, as well as having a carport for our car. The parking area was originally gravel and full of weeds. It is now a lovely, clean pad. They were able to reuse the gardening ties that had defined the original pad and it is now beautifully graded so no puddles, and is a pleasure to walk and drive on. It's graded to the lane and meets the lane pavement perfectly. Highly recommend them.

| Warranty | Curtis Paving provides a one year limited warranty from the date of installation for the quality of materials and workmanship of its asphalt installation. If Curtis Paving did not install the base aggregates under the asphalt, structural issues that arise from improper compaction of the base are not the responsibility of Curtis Paving. The warranty does not cover damage caused by impact or exposure to or from any foreign substance or other mistreatment of paved surface such as but not limited to: motorcycle stands, dumpsters, jacks, kick stands, trailer hitches and chairs. Oil, gas or other damaging chemical spills are not covered under warranty. Marks or scuffing left by vehicles of any type are not covered under warranty. Any superficial marks (non-structural indentations) are not covered by warranty. Acts of nature that can cause damage to the asphalt include ground movement, root systems of surrounding landscapes, and ground water under the pavement causing undue moisture of the pavement base. These conditions are not covered under the warranty. Vehicles that are heavier than the intended vehicles for a particular thickness of asphalt may cause the asphalt surface to fail. This failure is not covered under warranty. Any such area determined to fall within the warranty parameters will be repaired according to industry standards. The repair will be patched and will be visible. |
