Darrell is a consummate professional and is a pleasure to deal with. He always introduced members of his crew and made sure they knew what I wanted and what the work entailed. The job was completed on time and on budget. I would definitely hire Darrell again.

We had Darrell and team finish our basement in August 2019. They did an amazing job and we are very happy with the result.

He and his team installed a drywall ceiling, framed in the windows and installed flooring and all trim work. He also installed an exterior door and they painted the basement. His electrician also installed pot lights. They did an amazing job. We were so pleased with the work that we had his team come back to lay new flooring on our main level and install 2 pocket doors.

The work is professional. Darrell keeps an open line of communication regarding plans and makes sure he understands what you want done.

We had them come back a 3rd time to do some additional work. We are very pleased and will call him back when we are ready to have more work done.

This was my first time hiring professional services for residential construction and we chose Deltar Construction over 6 other residential contractors. The project was to install 7 doors throughout the house in the basement and main room. None of the doors were standard needing to be cut and sized which presented unique challenges.

The project was relatively small compared to some of the work Deltar has done but Darrell did not make us feel any less important. Darrell and Eric are very pleasant, professional, responsive and very accommodating, offering recommendations, listening to all concerns and resolving issues promptly.

Darrell is the most professional and responsive tradesman I have ever dealt with. He arrived to quote promptly as promised, sent a written quote quickly, which was very well priced, and set a start-date that was reasonable. Ours was a relatively small job but Darrell did not make us feel any less important, as clients, than those who engaged his company in major contracts. He was polite and understood our wishes and delivered the services as promised. The results are wonderful and our home has never looked better. This is my second project using deltar. This project a major change to our first floor foot print so we could design and install a new kitchen. The work included demo of drywall and removal of a wall. It also included framing, subfloor repair and upgrades, new drywall and install of flooring through out and reworking my kitchen exhaust.

They did an amazing job on this project.

Time lines were accurate from day one and always met.

The quality of work was very high. I could not see any transitions between old and new drywall/plaster. Floors lines up even around my central staircase and multiple rooms.

They were able to adapt to changes in the design and work easily as obstacles or new designs came up.

They were extremely pleasant to deal with.

Estimates were accurate which allowed us to stay on budget.

Throughly and care was taken on complex parts of the work to ensure the best results.

I will be using Deltar again for future projects.

My husband and I bought our first home 5 years ago in Toronto. We needed some work done to turn a single family home into two units as we were using the basement as an income suite. Deltar Construction was referred to us through a friend so we gave them a shot and so happy we did.

They were professional, helpful, providing great advice on things we wouldn't have considered (cutting a pass through window in the basement kitchen opened the space dramatically - something we never would have thought of before) and on top of it all did a fantastic job.

They did such a good job on separating the two units that we hired them back the following year when we needed some roofing done. And wouldn't hesitate to call them if we happen to need anything else in the future.
