I was fortunate to find Peters Development through this website.

At the time that I first used his services I had water infiltration in my garage. Christian Peters came and analyzed the problem quite quickly, he explained what his process would be to resolve the problem, prepared a plan of action with budget and time frame.

Needless to say I was very impressed and felt very confident in recommending him to a few of my friends, who in turn have also been favourly impressed.

This latest work that Peters Development involved 2 major difficulties.

One was the sewer backup, I had someone come in during the month of December 2017 to clear the sewers, the contractor will remain unnamed at this point but the person I dealt with was very patronizing and filling me with horror stories about my drains, as I trusted Christian I asked him if he would have time to come and look at the problem and give me a fair prognosis, fortunately Christian had time in his busy schedule to check the sewer pipe it turns out that the difficulty was on the city side and they have since come for a couple of weeks to do a good cleaning in the sewers.

The second difficulty was water infiltration between the walls during the winter months, again Christian took the time necessary to find out exactly where the problem initiated and has since fixed it. This included ensuring that the attic was well insulated and ventilated and the walls that had to be opened up were repaired and now look amazing.

Over all Peters Development is a professional firm that ensures the work is properly planned out, properly executed and last but not least professionally finished.

Of all the contractors that I have had since I purchased this house , a house that needed a tremendous amount of repairs, I would say Peters Development is the best and I highly recommend them.

Peters Development gave us an absolutely impeccable service for our basement reno project. It took us years plus many bad experiences to find the best, and they are indeed the best!!! Christian and his son are very polite, punctual, tidy, and extremely honest. The project was completed well within the timeline communicated and right on budget. We were always presented different options and we received detailed updates on a regular basis, and that made us feel like we were in good hands the whole way. Christian Peters did a complete renovation of our bathroom & we are thrilled with the results!

I discovered Development Peters by browsing online & reading reviews. After a first consultation to discuss the project and a very detailed quote, we felt comfortable and confident to have him work in our home.

The project was to redo and expand a 1950s bathroom. New walls, tiled shower with glass doors, new closet with build-in shelving, heated tiled floor, as well as installation of a 'floating' vanity and medicine cabinets. New vent, plumbing and electrical. Christian offered great ideas and went out of his way to take care of small details.

We also added on to the project several interior doors to replace- no small feat in a house where everything is crooked! Christian was solution-oriented, and found a way to make the job work. He was easy going about small adjustments throughout, and a good communicator. Christian and his son Jacob were both polite, friendly and easy to get along with. They did a big clean up at the end of each day, and were flexible working around my family's schedule.

Over all, I would highly recommend Development Peters, and I would definitely hire them for any future projects.

Christian fixed a crack on our foundation which was leaking into the basement. He did the work very quickly and was very nice and communicative. He had competitive rates and worked very fairly with the quote. I would definitely hire him again for further work.

I had hired Christian to redo the bathroom in my condo, paint it and install new mouldings and refinish the floors. He did it all on budget and a timely manner. He also had excellent communication skills, sending pictures and what was done almost daily since I didn't live at the condo or nearby to check in all the time. He was also very available if I had any questions or concerns when he wasn't on the job site. For all the horror stories you hear about contractors, Christian sure made my first dealing very easy and a delight.

Christian Peters has just completed a complicated job to deal with water infiltration in our basement and then to renovate it. We were delighted with the whole process from start to finish. He was ably assisted by his son Jacob. They were extremely pleasant, very hard working and did a fantastic job of identifying and fixing the many places where water was coming in. Nothing was too much trouble for them and they paid great attention to detail, with the result that our shabby old basement has been transformed into a beautiful new room.

Christian is the best contractor I have ever dealt with - he literally saved me a few thousand dollars due to his dilligence and throrough and creative solutions to multiple problems in my house.

Due to some bad experiences in the past I sought out about a dozen quotes and his was the most thorough and extensive, broken down line by line and allowed me to make wise financial decisions.

His work ethic and approach to things is fantastic and above all - he is super nice and kind man who will give you recommendations that you act upon for yourself in order to save you time and money.

I cannot offer a better recomendation and I am more than willing to act as a reference at anytime.

I highly recommend this company, they did a great job finishing my basement, play room, office room and combine laundry and bathroom. They are very trustworthy and care for their customers. And it was all done under budget.

I just bought a new home 5 years ago and decided to finished the basement because I was tired of all the dust. I called Christian to renovate my basement completely which includes;

- Installing floating floors

- Closing off the walls and ceiling

- Installing a full bathroom (rough in already done)

- Closing off the furnace room & hot water tank room

- Built a custom wall-wall TV unit with sliding doors

- Built a custom closet with shelving

- Installed Dimmable LED lighting

- Stained, varnished and installed oak wood stairs and railing

It took one face-to-face meeting to seal the deal with Peters Development. You can see immediately how knowledgeable, experienced, and honest he is. To put into perspective, it took him 10-15 minutes to take a few measurements and then a couple of days to provide a detailed quote. Once we signed, we bought 90% of the material he needed and at the end there was hardly anything to return.

On top of that, Christian is independent and very dependable. I gave him access to our house so he was able to work while we were at work. We were very fortunate of that because we avoid most of the construction work during the day and was able to see him 1/2hour before he left for the day. So we were able to see the progress he made, plus discuss anything to avoid any future delays or changes we wanted to make or to clarify and give him the green light to continue moving forward on the project.

Lastly, Christian is all about the details and finishing. For example, the floating floor joints are aligned throughout the basement. When walking around the basement, you will see the joints all lineup. The same goes for the LED lights in the ceiling. Everything is centered and aligned throughout the basement.

Overall, we are very pleased with the work Christian and his son Jacob did to our basement. We highly recommend his service to anyone. You will not regret it.

Peters a renforcé la structure à certains endroits, puis il a posé des panneaux isolants sur les murs extérieurs. Il a ensuite cassé le béton de la dalle pour raccorder la laveuse et réparer le drain du sous sol. Il a créé une salle de bain avec douche. Il a posé des murs partout et installé un plancher flottant.

Maintenant que le travail est terminé, la finition a une belle apparence. Christian Peters est quelqu’un qui travaille très fort. Il fait preuve de beaucoup d’indépendance. Mr. Christian Peters, owner of Peters Development, is the best general contractor I have ever met. I already praised his for finishing my basement last year. This time, they expanded 2 bedrooms and widened the area in the front hallway, and remodeled parts of the kitchen (including plumbing and tile work). The finished work is superb. Christian is an expert in all aspects of construction, and takes genuine pride in the quality of his work. He also completed the work on time, even though i had imposed a time constraints of 4 weeks. Our house looks amazing. My family and I are overjoyed with the new space in the bedrooms. The budget was very reasonable and did not change as the work progressed. Chris Peters ( Peters Developpement )was hired to do a complete renovation of our 1800 Sq ft Condo In Montreal. We lived in Vancouver BC at the time so communication was imperative.

Chris started the reno in January and finished at the end of March, on schedule and on budget. He replaced hardwood flooring, removed walls, installed fireplaces, painted, did the electrical and plumbing required and dealt with other trades involved in the project.

You know you have a good contractor when your neighbours are as happy with him as you are, and stop you on the street to ask you for his phone number! We live in a semi-detached two-unit building, and we had Peters come to rip out our old concrete front porch and walk, completely redo the porch and upstairs balcony, and also to put a parking pad in our front yard. We (and our neighbors) weren't just impressed that they did a beautiful job that conformed exactly with what we asked for; it's also that they worked so diligently and precisely until it was done. We first contracted Mr. Peters when we got the inspection report of our new home, we contacted several contractors for advice and estimates and after trying to work with a few different people - once we met Christian, we immediately felt like this was the person who would be able to help us achieve what we wanted with the home and went ahead with the purchase and plans to get work started. We didn't get any run around, and everything was laid out in a way we could understand. We had questions on various areas from electrical , to plumbing, brickwork, to roofing - basically every angle of question we had he was able to come back to us with suggestions, solutions and ideas. After the estimates Christian was right on track with the timelines he provided for the work we did. He was right on track in every aspect. The quality of his work was amazing, he put attention to detail even where people would not even notice. I was incredibly impressed with the frame work he put in when he redid a few walls, even the inside of the walls were beautifully crafted. This is exactly what I am talking about. We recently hired Peters Development to replace door and window caulking for our entire condo complex (6 units, 4 storeys) as well some masonry and roofing work. In the past we've used their services for cement work, building of new decks, solidifying a fence, ceramic tiling and more.

I required the service of someone to repair a crack that was resulting in water infiltration in my garage. Fortunately I found Peters Development on the internet. Christian Peters came saw the problem and was able to fix it to my great satisfaction. In fact the problem was larger than originally anticipated as the crack had gone quite deep to the outside and Mr, Peters not only had to fix the crack but had to displace and replace part of the patio and add an extension to my drainage pipes.
