Dean was friendly, punctual, knowledgeable and professional. He tells is like it is. He is very particular and notices many things that I wouldn't have given a second thought. He is very knowledgeable about wood stoves and chimneys. He had concerns about how my woodstove and chimney were installed by a previous owner. There is no doubt in my mind that he prevented a catastrophe that would have happened sooner or later had we not taken steps to make my wood stove and chimney code compliant and safe to use. It was money very well spent. I would highly recommend DJF Home Inspections.

Thanks for hiring me to do the home inspection of your beautiful new home and the WETT wood stove inspection. The WETT inspection is an important add on for insurance requirements for the home inspection and I'm so glad we were able to repair your stove/chimney to be up to the current National building code standards after the issues were located. I have found so many of them to be installed incorrectly over the years and it's always a good feeling walking away from a job knowing they are now installed correctly.
