I got a nice man who pulled out our 20 yr old stove and saw the board for the electrical connections was quite loose. He cleaned and tightened it and then put the oven part that was not staying on and voila! It has been working fine ever since. He had already confirmed what they told me on the phone; It's 80$ just for the visit ( not to pick on them because this is something I see more and more of) as free estimates seem to be a thing of the past. He did make me an offer that if in 2 weeks the oven stopped working, he would either fix it for $500.00 but take off the 80 they charged me to come look at it. With us hovering over recession these fees for just going to where the work is seem unfair. Meh....say y'all....But they also said if I get a NEW stove they would get me a deal with Corbeil (where I bought my fridge stove, diswasher and laundry set. So the 80$ would be taken off the $8-900.00 stove. They told me all of this up front. Its fine as I was prepared. So far the stove still works, Yes but we will he saving. I'm sure I can get a deal at Corbiel myself. At least there was no icky feeling because he DIDspend a good 15 mins looking at and even cleaning a couple of places. I cannot say anything negative as it was a pleasant experience. And I was lucky that the technician really looked and cleaned mostly tightened my board so its nice and fit. B+

The quality of work by the two gentlemen from Doctor Appliance (Dannys and Justin) was top notch - they did an excellent job repairing my washer and dryer.

Our clothes washer gave out, which turned out to be more of a problem than you might think due to where and how it was set up; luckily Sergei and Ilya knew precisely how to set things right in record time. Two real professionals, which seems to be the case for Doctor Appliance in general.
