We found Done Right through this website and decided to call them when we saw all of the wonderful comments - and of course the five star rating. We were sure we were in touch with the best when Don showed up 10 minutes EARLY for his appointment to quote on our project. We were pleased with the quote and went ahead and we certainly were not disappointed. All of the work was done on time, on budget and very much to our satisfaction. Don and Matt were great to work with - easy going and friendly - no problem was too big or too small for their attention. Very neat and tidy and always left the work areas clean at the end of the day (they had to cut flooring and trim in our garage and actually left it cleaner than before the started!) Don has already quoted us on another project and we are very happy to have someone we know and trust to take care of it.

The five stars are definitely well deserved and "Done Right" says it all!

Don & Matthew did a great job on our large Reno. It included a new bedroom wall with barn door, completely reframing the walk in closet area & a complete gut of the bathroom. Everything was done as quoted with attention to detail. They were very respectful and showed up to work everyday until the job was completed. I would definitely recommend them & have already booked them to come back to do work in the kitchen.

I am very pleased with the work done by Don and Matt! The project was done on time, in budget and looks great. The job entailed replacing the tub, tile, vanity & sink; installing a linen tower and painting the bathroom. Don, Matt and Leslie were all very professional and great to work with. I will definitely hire Done Right Home Improvements again.

Based on reviews we hired Done Right Improvement to renovate our bathroom. This family business, Leslie, Don & Matt work as a team to give you the best in service and quality. They completely demolished our existing bathroom and built from scratch our new custom bathroom with and enlarged tiled shower and tiled floors, freestanding tub, toilet, vanity with mirror and sconces, custom door handles, new trim and paint. The workmanship is excellent and our bathroom looks amazing. We would highly recommend them.

Highly recommend Done Right Home Improvements, as Don and son Matt were extremely professional right from the quote - which had the most detail in it and was received back promptly from the moment he came to provide us an estimate. They work hard, always cleaned up their working area, never left it a mess. Excellent workmanship on tile work, and answered all my questions, and provided options for me to think about which made the most sense to go with i.e. pot light hooked up with fan. Very easy to talk with and trustworthy as we left for a small trip and had them carry on working in the house. Truly, love their work, and will have them back when we have another project to tackle!

Based on reviews here I hired Done Right Home Improvement to renovate a bathroom for me. They tiled the walls for a new shower kit, installed the shower and tiled the floors and I'm very happy with the work. Based on my experience their 5 star rating is well deserved. I dealt with Leslie and Mat and they were both extremely friendly and answered all of my questions. The job came in on budget and was completed in the time frame estimated. Great experience, I'll be calling them again in the future for other jobs.

I had 5 contractors in my house to give me quotes amd I was not satisfied with them on many levels from not returning phone calls to overpricing or missing information on the quote. From the minute I contacted done right Leslie responded to me immediately and had don out to my house within a few days. I knew immediately that don was the one I had been looking for. He was punctual, polite, and sent me a quote within a few hours. I was already impressed Matt and don arrived everyday and spent the whole day working. When issues came about we were able to solve them quickly and efficiently. I highly recommend this company because from Leslie to Don ro Matt your renovation will be DONE RIGHT. I will definitely be thinking of hiring them again.

We have used Don & Mat's services before; (e.g. bathroom, outside walkway ) and now, they just have completely re-done our kitchen to a modern and efficient room, which I now absolutely love to work in. Including knocking down a wall between the kitchen & the dining room.

Don & Mat go the extra mile to make sure your dreams & wishes come true. And if your idea is not feasible, they always have other great suggestions to offer and they have always stayed on time and on budget.

They clean up after themselves and leave the house the same way they arrive.

We consider ourselves very lucky to have found them and we will stay with them for ALL our future projects.

Don and Mat were wonderful to deal with. They were prompt and completed the work as promised at a fair price. When the scope of the renovation became larger they took it in stride and completed it professionally. The job site was kept neat and as clean as possible the entire time they were working. I have no hesitation in recommending them, and have done so several times.

Don and Matt did a amazing job on our bathroom at our income property! Very professional and tidy. We also had a small front step put on our front door way. All Don's work was done on the schedule. This was our first time working with a contractor and it was a great experience! We definitely would use Done Right again for future projects!

Don and Matt did a great job finishing our basement. They were here everyday until the job was complete and looked after all aspects, including permits. The quote was accurate and the job completed within the time frame. We wouldn't hesitate to have them do work for us again or recommending them to others. Leslie was great at keeping us informed and up to date. During our search for a contractor many wouldn't do certain work such as fireplaces, egress windows, or permits. Don & Leslie were great to work with! The work was done during the exact timeframe we agreed to, and everything looked fantastic when they were done! The work was being done while we on vacation, so Don even brought his Son to meet us so we were comfortable with who would be in our house while we were away.

We had a 3 piece bathroom totally gutted and redone. We picked out all our pieces / fixtures, and Don did all the pickup for us, with no markup on any of the items. Any questions or concerns were dealt with immediately.

We couldn't be happier with our new bathroom, and wouldn't hesitate to use Done Right again.

My wife and I hired Done Right for a complete bathroom renovation and some hardwood flooring on a friend's recommendation. We were pleased with our choice of contractor. The job involved plumbing, electrical work, ceramic tiling and associated renovations. Done Right quoted on the whole job and got it done very close to budget. Renovations often involve the unexpected and Don and Matt were easy to work with when our surprises happened. They kept to schedule, did excellent restoration work, cleaned up the job site well and disposed of construction debris. We're planning to hire them again.

Done Right Home Improvements have completed many jobs for our family over the years in the several different homes we have lived in. I can certainly vouch for their overall excellent quality work including top notch craftsmanship, attention to detail, giving helpful creative input on a job, timeliness of job completion, being punctual every day, care within the home and clean up. They are terrific and we will be having them back to do more renovations at our new home in the near future! Highly recommended!

Don and Mat came highly recommended by friends of ours in Barrie and we were not disappointed. From the outset, Don was extremely professional and friendly. He visited our home to go over what we wanted to do and promptly prepared an estimate based on the scope of the work to be undertaken. We ended up making several changes to the original renovation plan (fortunately prior to the work commencing) and Don was very helpful and patient with us and helped us come up with the most sensible plan which best suited our needs. In the end, we had our main bathroom completely gutted and redone along with the living room painted and crown mouldings added. There were a few challenges along the way with plumbing and electrical as the home is about 60 years old, but thanks to Don's experience and expertise, all obstacles were overcome. Both Don and Mat have a terrific "can do" attitude which is extremely reassuring. In the end, the project was finished on time and within budget and we were thrilled with the results. The quality of workmanship is absolutely top-notch and we would not hesitate to recommend them for any type of residential project. Don told us at the outset that when he starts a job, he finishes it and he was true to his word. Despite the fact that we had some terrible February winter weather to contend with, Don and Mat came on time each day for two weeks until the job was comnpleted. My wife and I were comfortable leaving the home (not to mention our numerous pets!) in their hands.

In summary, we would thoroughly recommend Don and Mat to others for calibre of workmanship, pricing, reliability, willingness to "work with you", flexibility, patience, keeping an extremely clean work area and also because they're great guys! Do yourself a favour and give them a call!

I cannot express enough how professional the team at Done Right Home Improvements is. The quality of their work is outstanding. We recently underwent a home energy audit and thanks to the timeliness and quality of work Done Right completed, we were granted a rebate from the government in access of $3,800! We have used them for several contracting projects in our home and have referred them to many friends and neighbours. They take an enourmous amount of pride in their craftsmanship and are incredibly trustworthy. Whenever we have a home reno project, big or small, the only team we call is Done Right Home Improvements. The attached picture is of our remodeled family room. Done Right did a complete gut of this room, insulated, dry walled, painted, installed crown molding and built the custom fireplace mantle with very little direction - they knew exactly the look we wanted to achieve and the results were beyond our expectations.
