Did a kitchen reno for us. The labors were not skilled at all. Took way too long. Poor workmanship. No regard for the home while working in the house.

I'm writing this review due to the TERRIBLE customer service I received from this company. I got flooring done last year by this company and there was a flaw in the work which resulted in one vinyl plank cracking. I reached out to the GM and it took over 7 months to get it fixed. Since then I have had to reach out to the GM again because I have noticed that the planks that were torn off were re-used now don't lay flush with the rest of the floor. The GM still hasn’t returned my messages or emails and it has now been over several months and I have done a follow up couple weeks ago and still no answer. It started out with one issue and has now resulted in four. This company does not adhere to their warranty program. I do NOT recommend this company to anyone as straight from the beginning I have had to chase after this company to get warranty work completed or follow up appointments.

Nishal has finally reached out to me and sent a worker to my house back in Nov 2018 to look at the floors. I received a message from office here in Edmonton and I was advised from someone there that the flooring has been delayed and would be there at the end of the week (Nov 13). I then followed up again on Nov 27 regarding to the flooring – I received no reply. Then I followed up again on Dec 7 – I received notice that whoever was in charge of my follow up and warranty issue was out of the office and would touch back with me in the following week. It was now Dec 17 and I still hadn’t heard a response from anyone. I messaged the worker that came to my house late Dec and was advised that the vinyl planks they had originally installed have been discontinued and that they are going to try to locate more from a different supplier so they can complete the warranty work. I then proceeded to again try to call and follow up on the 17th and 20th of Dec. I finally received a call from Nishal on Jan 7th but I missed the call. Nishal did not leave a message and I have been unable to get a hold of him since then. I’ve tried calling Nishal repeatedly on Jan 10, 15, 18 and today the 22 – all calls going to straight to voicemail which has not been set up so I was unable to leave a message. I have also tried calling the Calgary head office (403) 250-9073 and the Toronto office (905) 597-0066 to see if I could get any help and both numbers for some reason do not work.

This is UNACCEPTABLE - not providing clients with follow up and pro longing any required warranty dating back over a year to Jan 2018 is ridiculous! Also, to add more to this my flooring is now discontinued (as per the worker that did show up in Nov) and they have no spare planks available for warranty issues. The way this company has conducted business is NOT that of reckonable company. I would NEVER recommend this Company to any of my friends or family. I feel like I’ve been left in the dust with repairs that need to be completed because of the shoddy workmanship that was done when the installation first happened. Due to the negligence of this company and the lack of care to the workmanship I will be filing a complaint to the Better Business Bureau. This needs to end. People pay thousands of dollars for a good company to come in and do a good job on their flooring and then when their tradesmen are unable to provide good workmanship they then leave the problem up to the home owner to fix, which is outrageous! All I want is for my floors to be fixed!

DSC did a beautiful job on my basement after a pipe burst and flooded everything even though it was a very stressful time for myself DSC handled it very easily for me and made it less stressful they dealt directly with the insurance company and got the job done! With the skills this company has I see them moving forward real fast i know if I need any work done in the future this will be my go to guys and I highly recommend them to anyone and everyone highly reliable!

Nishal and his team did an phenomenal job on my master bedroom and bathroom. They were able to complete the project in a reasonable time minimizing the stress. When it came to choosing the finishing and fixtures, they made it very comfortable and easy for me at their office. I would like to take this time to thank Nishal for taking extra measures to make sure the process was stress free for me!

DSC Construction did an amazing job building my basement. Their team was wonderful to deal with. Their work was organized and well-structured through and through and finished in a timely manner. I was very impressed with the work that they have done and would definitely refer to anyone looking to get some work done!

I did a renovation to my house, changing the windows, baseboard trims and flooring. I also had a few walls opened up and painting throughout.

Nishal was a great help, he had excellent suggestions, helped find me great deals and walked me through the whole project. His staff was fun, helpful, knowledgeable, respectable, clean and communicated every step of the way, doing everything to make sure my opinions were heard.

I highly recommend Nishal and his team. I'm looking to finish my basement in the future and will definitely hire DSC Construction again. They are a growing company with real potential.

DSC Construction has been very efficient and has performed all subcontracted work in a timely manner fulfilling the needs of all construction requirements. Every project was dealt at a professional level in consideration with construction safety. A reliable construction company like DSC is hard to come across.

They did a large job for me and took 5 times longer than they said they would and they still have not completed the job, leaving finish painting and a and entire window replacement undone. Now the glass shower door they installed just 2 months ago is broken and they won't return my calls. I would not recommend them to anyone as they are poorly managed.

Nishal and his team at DSC Construction did a job for us recently. They painted an entire unit, installed a kitchen and a bathroom vanity. We were happy with the price, communication, and timeline of the project. We also appreciated that they didn’t try to sell us things and helped us to keep the costs down. They also went the extra mile for us after the fact and helped us to get our appliances delivered.
