Our hardwood was 40 years old, and in pretty rough condition in a few places. Sebastian came in, and after sanding, looked like new. We went with a natural flat stain, and it looks fantastic. The hardwood floor in our house was in need of serious attention. There was also a time-frame limitation involved. Sebastian worked us into his schedule, and then worked extremely hard and diligently while he was at our house.

Sebastian always called or texted ahead of time and always showed up when he said he would.

The quality of Sebastian's work was excellent, and he was very thorough in his work, taking the time to do things right, and answer questions along the way.

In March 2017, we had Dynamic refinish the hardwood floors on the main floor of our home, as well as the staircase to the lower level. The hardwood was very good quality but over time had been scarred and discoloured in a number of places. The work undertaken by Dynamic involved cutting and sanding the wood down to its original state, applying the stain we had chosen, and then applying a semi-gloss finish. The work was done professionally, carefully, courteously, on-time and as quoted. A product issue that was not Dynamic's fault was taken care of immediately and fully. The end result is beautiful and undoubtedly added far more value to the home than the cost of doing the work.

We have solid wood floors in our den, dining room, hallway, family room and stairs, that is 14 years old. They had many scratches from years of abuse from our pets. I was hesitant to have them re-finished, because I did not want to have to remove the baseboards and door trim. I read reviews on Dynamic Edge. I contacted them, and the owner, Sebastian, assured me that he had the equipment and ability to re-finish the floors without removing the baseboards.

The first two days of the job sere spent sanding and preparing the floor for finish. Even though he had a truck mounted vacuum, there was still noticeable amount of dust in the air. It would have been nicer to have done this job during warmer weather so we could have opened some windows. The third day he sealed the wood, and put Glitsa Max finish on top. The product has a very strong smell for about ten hours, so I suggest if you use it, you find somewhere else to be during that stage.

Overall, I found that Sebastian is an extremely reliable worker, and meticulous in his preparation of the floor. He has all of the proper equipment, and uses it well. Most of the baseboards had gotten sealer and the finish on them during the final processes, so I had to re-paint all of the baseboards. But I knew that would happen, and was prepared for it. We re-painted the following day. In addition to the floor, Sebastian repaired some damages to the wooden stairs, and made them look as good as new. We are very satisfied with the job that he did.

We highly recommend considering sabastian to take on your job! We bought a home with wore hardwood and an out dated colour. If you look at the attached pictures Sabastian brought our maple hardwood back to a modern look with in 4 days! We were on a very tight timeline to move in, he has worked with us to make this happen before moving in (worked the weekend to finish for us). Very knowledgeable, professional and also has done a follow up to see how our floors were after 30 days.
