I had ordered 11 windows and 2 patio doors for my cottage, at a very premium price. When the windows and doors were ordered, two Ecoline employees came on separate occasions, to measure the windows and doors, that needed replacing. When the installers arrived to install them, 5 windows were/are incorrect in size. After addressing their errors, they refused to give us any compensation. They only offered a 5% discount on future orders. As if I would ever order from them again!
Since I posted the review, we discovered other issues. The patio doors allow bugs to get in my cottage! Both doors! A new window was installed and the insulating foam was not completed around the entire window. We are waiting for the 5 new windows, with the correct measurements, to be manufactured and installed. We will see about the service.
Update: on September 20, 2022 I received another call that the installers couldn't make an appointment, that was scheduled well in advance, to resolve some of the issues. Not the first time. My wife has cancelled 3 different shifts at work to accommodate the installers, only to be disappointed by their absence. Again!!!
Update October 30, 2022. I inquired regarding the status of my reordered windows. The estimated time of arrival is mid to late November. The problem occurred in August. They claimed to have put a rush on the correctly manufactured windows. Apparently it takes 3 months to re-manufacture 5 windows. Some rush!!!!!
Update: On January 12, 2023, Ecoline finally installed the remainder of my windows. I was informed that as an Ecoline customer, I could get a discount on blinds. I made the inquiry and was informed that there is no representative in Winnipeg so the quote would be virtual. I was given a quote on blinds that I never got to see or touch! Can you imagine that it was suggested that I spend thousands of dollars on something unseen? Absolutely absurd!!!
Update: November 14, 2023. I needed two windows and the screen from a patio door replaced. The two new windows were the wrong size!! Again!!
This is the lack of quality that I have come to expect from Ecoline! Outrageous!

Spend a few extra $ and go elsewhere. As there will be an ongoing court case, I can’t into this too much. I was reminded that my calls were recorded. I was polite, prim and proper, extremely patient and just wanted the company to cover some of my costs incurred by zero caulking on a few of my windows. I also audio and video recorded, maintained email chains and was extremely patient. When their own installer states my original install was very shoddy, that should tell you something. Their customer service skills are not very good(when they finally speak with you). Both Paulina and Paul definitely need training in their customer service skills. Overall, we love our windows just poor workmanship and not honouring their work! Oleg was a class act to deal with. He hopefully finally rectified our issue. Unfortunately, it was after close to $10,000 spent to figure out where the leak was coming from. I will personally not recommend this company to anyone.

Appreciate your rebuttal but your facts are incorrect! You're correct, I did have my windows installed in 2012, it wasn't till this past summer that we realized there was no caulking on our basement windows (outside). Because they are under ground level, there's no way to view this until we had that side of the house dug out for new window wells. When the water check was done and the drywall in the basement was off, you could now visibly see where the water was coming from under those 2-windows. When Oleg came to do the work, he admitted on video that the install from 10-years prior was shoddy and not very well done. Oleg did a great job fixing this issue on the inside. His partner who could not speak English worked on the outside. Once complete on the inside and the job was completed, Oleg checked all the windows outside. To our surprise, they still weren't caulked at all. Oleg apologized for his partner and now I watched him visibly caulk them. So again, get your facts correct! The service appointments should be free as this issue was your poor workmanship in the first place.
So after all this, there is absolutely no way this would've been determined unless drywall, insulation and vapour barrier were removed. I did not demand anything! I stated id like to be compensated for some of the work I had gotten done to figure out were my leak was coming from. To be completely honest, I enjoy the remainder of my windows and had no reason to complain until this occurred. Again, your customer service department is rude, has zero compassion, lacks professionalism, unaccountable and did not want to work with me to rectify this issue. I was not looking to break the bank just to have some of my costs covered due to the companies poor workmanship. Would there be a difference if this happened after year 1 or year 5 or as in my case, year 10? You need to be respectful of your customers, listen to their concerns and act accordingly. I shouldn't have had to ask for an apology. Either way, these are the facts. I hope you do better in dealing with your customers moving on. Thanks for the offer of 5% off future work with your company but I will pass and still will not recommend you to anyone who asks. Just be better!
Mr. Prociuk installed his windows in 2012 and 10 years after installation in 2022 he called Ecoline Windows complaining that the windows were leaking. We honour our warranty, so we immediately carried out 2 service appointments for Mr Prociuk absolutely free of charge. Needless to say that at no point our installer complained about the quality of the initial installation. Mr. Prociuk demanded compensation of $5,500.00 for the damage to his basement that occurred after 10 years. At no time during this period did Mr. Prociuk complain about the windows or even contact our company.
Told that is when they were coming. I explained no one would be around to let them in as we were leaving on holidays. So the work was rescheduled for 10 days later. This now meant another day had to be taken off work. When I was finally able to reach someone to discuss the issue, the person did admit it was a mistake in scheduling on their part. When asked about compensation for the 2 days lost income it was extremely difficult to talk to anyone who could help us. Finally a person did call and apologized and admitted it was an error on Ecoline's part. They offered 5 percent off the next project if we ever needed Ecoline's services again. Of course we wouldn't need this company ever again. Then an offer of a 40 dollar Amazon gift card was offered which I felt was quite disrespectful considering the loss of income we had was considerably more than that. Ecoline also would not provide anything in writing to admit it was their error. So do yourself a favour and look for another window company. Avoid some headaches and possible loss of income as Ecoline is a company who clearly does not value their customers or treat them in a manner that makes them feel valued.

As per your contract: Please keep in mind, windows and/or doors installation is a renovation project. Duration of the scheduled installation appointment is approximate and can increase/decrease or result in multiple visits due to various factors.
I received quotes from 3 window companies including Ecoline. All quotes were competitive with each other. However, what made me decide to go with Ecoline was a number of things.
First, they build their own windows. In the event of a warranty claim, you call Ecoline, not some manufacturer you have not dealt with before.
Second, their warranty was better than any other company I looked into.
Third, their product is solid. Eli brought a sample window into our home to show us and you can see the quality of the window before you make a decision. The other two companies I looked into did not do that.
Fourth, they made it so easy. Eli provided all the info I needed for the Greener Homes Grant and Hydro rebates we qualified for. They even put us in touch with the company that came out and did the required assessment. It was simple.
Install by Oleg was quick but quality. The team did a great job of putting the windows in and cleaning up after!
Would recommend this company to anyone looking for quality windows and service.

The free estimate Ecoline offers is a strong selling point. They fully explain why their product is high quality and worth the price. I recently had my doors and a window replaced. Took two days, and I had some difficulties with communication between myself and the workers, but I can't argue with the quality of the work done, and the final product.

The installation crew did a great job. I have worked in construction for 35 years so I believe I know what a good trades person can do. The crew showed up on schedule, were well organized, took reasonable care, cleaned up quickly after themselves and were respectful. The foreman kept watch on the quality of the work being done by his crew. The installation workmanship was done to a high standard. The whole process of using Ecoline Windows was great and I would readily recommend this company.
