I am very satisfied with the work Adrian performed on my home. Our aging granite retaining walls had some pieces falling out and we have a crack in one area of the wall close to a swing gate. Finding skilled people to repair aging granite walls is not easy. I searched long before finding Adrian. He is well organized delivers what he says he will. We agreed on a date to start, price and scope of work and he showed up and finished as indicated in our original conversation.

Our decorative wall is the best interior feature of our house. We take family photos in front of it. I liked Adrian's professional manner. In planning, Adrian drew a design plan to highlight the curved lines on our classic style wood stove and added a wood box in an old-fashioned brick oven design. He modified his design and incorporated our ideas when we asked him to. Adrian installed a backing sheet of plywood and used brick ties to keep the brick wall level and standing free of the wall behind it. He cut the bricks needed for the curve, rather than just set them in place full sized, explaining that this made the curves look better. He was right. Adrian worked quickly, safely, and cleaned up everything after. We paid him a bonus because we were so pleased.

Adrian has worked with me on two projects. Each one he did very well. He handled the work efficiently and in a timely manner. There was a minor problem with levelling on a patio. He responded and corrected it almost immediately.
Because he handled the first project so professionally, he was the only person I called to repair a concrete retaining wall and some flaking bricks on the chimney. Again, he responded quickly, and did a professional job.
I am pleased to recommend him to others.

| Warranty | Edifice Masonry provides a 5 year quality and craftsmanship guarantee on all masonry work. Should a defect in workmanship arise during the warranty period, Edifice Masonry will perform repairs as appropriate to the problem area(s) at no cost to the client. Normal wear and tear to materials is not covered under warranty. Items covered under warranty include broken, cracked, or deteriorated joints and loose or cracked stones or bricks, within reason. Edifice Masonry will relay loose brick or stone. For cracked mortar joints, Edifice Masonry will grind out and re-point the cracked joint. The following are not covered under warranty: Deterioration of joints or masonry surfaces due to over-exposure from water, mold, fungus, and/or fire; Damage due to use of salt or any chemical to clear or remove ice or snow from the surface; Partial or complete collapsing of the structure from any act of God (including hurricane, lightning, tornado, flood, fire, earthquake, etc.); Cracking in masonry surfaces due to settling, shifting, abuse from new construction near location of our work; Damage resulting from collisions (human or mechanical); Damage due to improper use of structure (heavy machinery or large delivery trucks). For concrete work, the following are not covered under warranty: Hairline cracks, spalling or slab shifting due to water, snow exposure, and salt, chemicals, and de-icers. |
