We had hardwood floors installed a week ago and are very pleased with the result. Colin and Evan were very helpful and addressed all of our concerns. The installers were knowledgeable, polite and very efficient.....we would recommend square foot flooring for all your flooring needs.
I have bought the all laminate flooring and the backsplash tiles for my new house with Colin. On top of very reasonable prices, Colin provided us with superb customer service, a level of service and care usually not found anywhere in the home reno stores businesses. I'd strongly recommend dealing with him if you need an expert opinion and decent prices.
The crew from Falcon Flooring was amazing! Professional and friendly and most importantly capable of the job. In and out in just one day! They worked fast and the end result was just what I hoped.
I love my new floors, thank you Falcon Flooring.
Just writing in to let everyone know that these people are amazing!!! From start to finish, the service was outstanding! They really care about their customers and making them happy with every detail. Prices are really reasonable.
I recently had water damage in my condo, and had to rip out all the flooring. I contacted Falcon Flooring and they were knowledgeable, courteous, and affordable. They were able to estimate accurately and had everything done very quickly. They went out of their way to give me an accurate quote and was able to make the whole process easier. Wouldn't hesitate to recommend them to anyone!!
I came to know of this place about 6 months ago. Ever since I purchased most of the things I needed for my home renovation from this location. The selection is very impressive. Colin, who is the person I deal with, gave me all the information I needed. I am a repeat customer at this location. I would, without hesitation, recommend Falcon Flooring to all my friends, colleagues and contacts.
Mehmet and his team from Falcon Flooring did an extensive floor renovation job in our house last month (April 2016). In just two and a half days they have removed the old flooring and carpet, installed the hardwood floor in all our bedrooms and in the hall, new stair threads, landings and vinyl flooring in the basement. They were very fast, efficient, courteous and professional. We were very impressed by the quality of the work. The rates were quite competitive too. We would like to thank them for the effort and for the job well done and we would definitely recommend Falcon Flooring to anybody looking for floor and stairs renovation. Very happy. A+
Great place to buy from. Colin was knowledgeable, curtios and willing to help at all times without having the feeling that he is just pushing for a sale. Great customer service. They can install also.
My wife found Falcon online and when we went to the showroom, she was able to find the exact type and colour of hardwood she had wanted. We took a sample home, and were provided with an estimate later that evening by the Owner of the company who happened to live in our area.
Once we received the breakdown on the official quote, there was a charge of $2,000 just for the removal and disposal of the existing laminate. When we asked a couple of questions about the quote provided, we were informed that there were errors on the quote provided and the costs went up on the revision.
We thought this quote was high and decided to get additional quotes for the installation. When we noticed there was an additional notation on the quote saying that pricing of the material was subject to availability, we informed Falcon that we would be coming in to the showroom that day to make the payment.
It wasn't until we got there that we were informed we would then be charged an additional $150 for the delivery of the wood. This was because the delivery was being done separate from the installation. We agree to pay the fee, provided our debit card, and the flooring was delivered a few business days later.
Unfortunately, the hardwood we received was not what we had ordered. The next business day, the Supplier of the hardwood came to our home with a replacement delivery. The only issue was that the replacement hardwood was the same as the original delivery that was incorrect.
After a lot of back and forth with the supplier, he suggested that he never had the wood we had selected and that it was not available. So, Falcon offered to provide us with a 100% refund.
That day, I drove back out to the showroom to get our refund. I provided my debit card, but they could not process the refund because of an error on their POS machine. This was disappointing because I needed the cash back to place a new order with a different company on a similar product they had confirmed as in stock.
After exhausting several options to get my cash back, I ultimately had to accept an non-certified cheque. Knowing my bank would place any non-guaranteed cheque on hold for 5 business days to allow the funds to clear, I went directly to the branch the cheque was written from the next morning to see if they could cash the cheque.
Although I was not a customer of this bank, the Teller was going to be able to process the cheque, but did explain to me that he would need to get in touch with the Owner to verify the funds could be released. Apparently, once contacted, the Owner hung up on the bank.
We finally got that situation resolved, but the bank applied a service fee for processing the cheque. I accepted the fee and decided to contact the Owner directly. I asked him to stop by and refund the service charge. Not because of the amount, but the principal involved. I also felt that I had been horribly inconvenienced. Just trying to get my money back, which I was promised, wasted nearly 7 hours of my time. The Owner lived my area, so I felt it would be a minor inconvenience for him to stop by.
Not only did the Owner flat out refuse, he actually suggested that I owe him more money because I wasted his time providing me an estimate on the installation. I couldn't believe how unprofessional this guy was, and I am thankful we ultimately got nothing done.
Given the comedy of errors throughout the entire process, I can't even imagine what would have happened if I actually let this guy in to my home to do the installation.
Hi,
Scott and his wife did contact us requesting us for bamboo hardwood and we advised them to visit the showroom and take a look at our suppliers samples we display.Once the hardwood was selected, the sample board was borrowed by the clients to see how it would look in their house and the sample board would be returned to me when we went over to provide them with an estimate.
The quote was emailed to them with a minor error on costs for the baseboards. We made the correction and resent the revised quote with an apology which was accepted. The cost for removal and disposal of the laminate and vinyl worked out to $2000.00 which the client claims was high but was never brought to our attention until this review was written. There was an additional notation stating prices are subject to availability as we would not want to cover the price difference if the suppliers were to send us a revised price list.
Scott and his wife did not advice us about not using us for the installation when they came to place the order for the hardwood but mentioned they were waiting to have their fencing work completed prior. I was requested to have the hardwood delivered to their house prior to putting down a deposit for installation. We do not deliver for free if there is no confirmation for installation from our clients, hence the charge for $150.00 to have it delivered early.
The order was placed based on the product information and the sample they selected and we had it delivered to their residence. A few days later we received a call from Scott's wife inform us that their contractor was over and wanted to take a look at the wood. Upon opening a box, Scott s wife noticed that the hardwood in the box was a different shade from the sample she had selected. We informed our suppliers about the same and made arrangements with the sales manager to visit the client s residence with replacement wood to have this matter resolved. Unfortunately, the wood wasn t the same shade as what they had selected even though all the product information remained the same.
The clients were requested to visit the showroom to select a different product if they were interested or get a full refund.
Scott and his wife decided not to go ahead with the order and returned all the material and had it sent back with our suppliers to their warehouse.
I received a call from Scotts wife informing me Scott was on his way here to collect his refund He arrived less than 5 minutes after getting off the call. We tried several times to process the refund which would not go thru as we were experiencing unforeseen errors with the POS machine that evening.
Scott was advised a cheque would be dropped off at his residence the following day He disagreed and wanted his refund to be processed right then.
We made arrangements and provided him with a company cheque for the full amount he was due to receive as a refund and Scott left the showroom.
The following morning, I received a call from Scott stating the bank was trying to reach the business owner to authorize the payment. The bank did manage getting hold of the owner and the payment was made to Scott. (With a $5.00 service fee from the bank, as per him). Scott called the business owner on his cell phone directly demanding the $5.00 charge be paid back and dropped at his residence which we refused. We offered to pay back the $5.00 bank charge if he came back to our showroom to collect it. He refused to collect the $5.00 from our showroom and advised us that he was going to find our company name everywhere on the internet and write a bad review about us even after assisting him.
Based on the review written by this client, you can clearly see that we did everything possible to assist them and have this matter resolved.
Please do not hesitate to contact us if we may be of any further assistance.
Thanks,
