With moving into a new build last fall, we wanted to have a deck built for the summer and by a defined deadline due to international visitors expected in June. Due to the pandemic, it was resulting in restrictions and our visitors having to postpone their trip until next year. I designed a two-level deck plan that was more complicated than just a standard deck. Mark and his crew took up the challenge despite the delays, restrictions and complex design, managed to complete the job based on our original estimated planned completion date.

Mark’s crew was extremely easy to work with throughout the entire project and always consulted with me if there was anything to clarify on the plan. With the town building inspectors having their particular requirements, Mark and his team ensured these requirements were satisfied quickly.

On the onset of the project to the very end, the visual detail on finishes was something the team took into consideration. I found Mark’s team took the extra mile to ensure a quality finish, and no shortcuts were taken to rush the job at any point. Overall, the workmanship was more than satisfactory in everything done. Their eye for detail was above average compared to other contractors I have used in the past.

When the project was complete, the job site was cleaned up and waste removed. The labour cost was very competitive, based on other quotes.

Mark is my go to guy for just about any building or reno job. He helped install a kitchen cupboard and sink unit, helped with reno in our living room, installed a patio door, built us a great fence for our dogs and even put up a new clothesline for me. I highly recommend Mark for any job you have on the go. Big or small he does them all. :)

We found our deck and fence was built quickly and very well done - when finished Mark cleaned up the area so no one would know there had been construction. His quote for labour was reasonable.
