Finishing Complete

He took my money and didn't do the job! He came to my house and measured for putting in new storm doors. Then he took my $600 to go buy the doors and vanished. I have contacted him through 8 different methods (email, Facebook, his fake Facebook, his wife, his wife's company, etc!) but nothing. I since found out that his former company AAIM did the same thing. I have been in contact with multiple people who have had him take money from them. He made up fake invoices that he sent to me to show he purchased the doors but then nothing ever happened. DO NOT TRUST HIM!

Took our deposit and vanished. No work done.

We were scammed by Matt. My mistake, should have read reviews first. Saw that he has done this before.

Matt came to our house for a quote on some drywall installation. We agreed on a price and put a deposit. That is the last we saw of him. He never showed up and is not contacting us back. He took our deposit and ran.

**HOME OWNERS BEWARE ** For all those looking for a trustworthy contractor who will not disappoint beware of Finishing Complete. My wife and I suffered from a previous contractor and when we met the contractor from Finishing Complete his words and actions put us at ease. So we hired him to paint our basement. Day 1. The contractor says he is bringing a helper. Turns out that his helper was being broken into because my basement was his first paint job. Great I’m now basically being told I’m paying to have someone who hasn’t painted before start his experience in my house. Second his “helper” than begins to explain certain knowledge about paint due to his community service he was given....RED FLAG. Then I explain to the contractor what is to be painted. Some walls were specifically not to be touched. He doesn’t tell any of this to his helper and his helper starts painting right off the bat the wall he was not supposed to. And I was given the blame of not explaining that to his helper. RED FLAG #2. And now my wife’s mistake she paid him and while we were at work he sends a message saying he has to leave because of a family emergency. Life happens I was ok with that. The contractor then later tells me he would come tonight at 7pm. 7pm comes around Noones here. I call no answer. 8pm still nothing. Seems to me he got his money and bolted half way through the job. His helpers mistake is still yet to be fixed and now I’m out a painter and out of money. This company is a perfect example of why homeowners should not trust most contractors and not pay anything until the job is done. They are thieves and cheaters and I hope karma hits them. If I could put negative stars I most definitely would. DO NOT I REPEAT DO NOT HIRE THESE CHEATERS.

Matt from Finishing Complete replied to my repair request immediately and with much enthusiasm. He said he enjoyed the challenge of fixing drywall holes and had perfected the technique. I sent him photos of the over 20 holes and he provided me with a itemized estimate invoice. It was comparable to another estimate I had received but Matt was able to start the job within a few days. Matt worked diligently and was able to complete the job in 2 1/2 days, could've been 2 days but delayed due to paint match up at paint store and traffic delays. Overall the job Matt completed was done well and within the time frame given.

I had a leak in roof that was leaking into my kitchen and spare bedroom. Matt was hired for the repair. He was professional , courteous, and knowledgeable. Matt did and excellent job, you can't tell in the sealings where the leak was, He also painted my cupboards and painted the bathroom and hall area. The sealing in the bathroom had watermarks from not having a fan. He cleaned and put something on the sealing so I don't have watermarks anymore. I would recommend him to anyone. Prices are very reasonable as well.
