We had the carpet removed from the stairs and hardwood put on along with a new railing on 1 staircase. We kept the old railing on the 2nd staircase. They did a great job! Always there to answer questions and offer suggestions along the way. Great customer service, amazing price and very nice hardworking people.

Great experience with General Flooring Canada and its onsite contractor. Just finished the project with a total second floor carpet to oak flooring replacement, trim as well as replacing the carpeted staircase to solid oak stairs including iron spindles. I hired Tudor and his team to complete flooring installation in a master bedroom. His pricing was reasonable and followed through on the action plan that was promised. The work was completed very professionally without any issues and overall presented nicely.

After placing my post, Tudor from General Flooring Canada emailed me a bid with specific details with a reasonable rate. So I took the time to visit their show room, had a conversation with Tudor, decided to use them for my job. They have a lot of selection in their show room. At the end, we decided with portion of the area with laminate and other portion with vinyl flooring.

The result was fabulous, 3 men team, took them just 2 days to finish my whole studio with trims and everything.

After placing my ad, Zoe from General Flooring Canada emailed me a bid with specific details and reasonable rates. I liked how thorough it was and decided to visit the showroom. She was very helpful, friendly and informative. I picked laminate flooring for the 2nd floor of my new house, they were able to fit us in before our move-in date. Two workers arrived, they finished in 2 days and I'm extremely happy with the results. They were fast, but careful and cleaned up after. Loving my wood floors and will definitely consider using them again, maybe when we renovate the basement. Great experience,

I'm glad that I chose GFC. Renovation in condo requires so many documents, but GFC took care of it. They have all the certificate for me to show to the management office. And installers helped moving my mattress out of the room. I really appreciate their work. The amazing part was that they cleaned everything, not leaving a single dust on my floor! I was so surprised and happy about it! And the price they charged, is really fair.

From the looks of it, it looks like a pretty new place. Staff is very enthusiastic and friendly. Zoe helped with the sales, explained everything about replacing our current carpet with flooring. Everything (except a few minor problems) was done perfectly and the price was cheaper than most. This place is good value for the money.

First of all I have to thank the GFC. We have been looking for flooring company from HomeDep to other small business owners across GTA for months. Luckily we found GFC, Zoe was very helpful providing a lot of information but also listening and answering our concerns including the price. With her professional service, we have found our floor.

On the day of installation, we booked the elevator of my condo. Chris, the contractor and his team arrived on time. It only took 1 day to replacing our living room. At the end they cleaned everything. The living room was so beautiful and we love it.

They did a good job installing my laminate flooring. The quality of the work was excellent. What I was impressed by most was:

1) Price. Their quote was literally 1/3 of the quote of some of the larger contractors on TrustedPros. Seems like the bigger a contractor gets, the more they inflate their prices. I decided to take a chance on a smaller contractor looking to build their reputation and I'm glad I did. There were no extra costs or unpleasant surprises. The final bill was exactly the same as the quote.

2) Problem-solving. It's hard to believe, but some of the larger contractors here said they couldn't put laminate on my stairs. They simply couldn't be bothered, charged exorbitant prices or simply didn't know how to do it. General Flooring however, procured the custom laminate pieces for stairs and took the time to do the work. I could see it was very time-consuming work, but they took the time and now my staircase is fully laminated along with the floor.

There were some minor issues with clean-up and punctuality, but if you are a patient customer and willing to overlook little things, you will be happy with their quality and price, which is the most important thing. One month later, you'll have forgotten all about the minor issues, but you will still have a great floor that you paid a very reasonable price for.

I want to thank Floor General for their great service. Zoe helped me with choosing style of the floors. And special ordered gray color for me. Mr. Rong and his Team member replaced my living room floor in 2 days. Everything was so clean after the job was done. And i really liked my new floor. And their fee is very reasonable.
