It’s been almost a year since we’ve hired GNK Constructions for the renovation of our apartment in MTL. It’s been a real long and emotionally-draining experience to the point of becoming a real nightmare: promises not kept, poor workmanship, overblown budget, removing of a wall that was a bearing wall, etc, etc, etc… In the end, we had to hire another contractor to go over and finish the work properly. A project that, according to the contract was supposed to last two months (July-August 2019), ended up without completion lasting eight months. Because of all this, plus Covid 19, we’re still struggling to put the apartment up for sale on the market. Please beware!

Few years ago I had my custom shower done with very poor caulking job.

Since then I tried to fix it twice and both times calcking wouldn't hold for longer than year and looked terrible.

I was really impressed by caulking job from GNK Construction guys - not only they picked the right product and color, but also did the job very dilligently, with German precision :)

Shower finally looks great and feels robust.

They also did a great job on bathroom floor tiling - they recommended great tiles store (Itealnord), helped to choose the grout color and did the tiles cutting and grout application in high quality. They also sealed everything with transparent caulking making sure there will be no more water damage around the toilet and underneath the floor.

Final expenses were a bit higher than originally estimated, but that's normal, given the quality and the speed.

Highly recommended.

George exhibits a combination of qualities that will make him my "goto" contractor for all future work: Honesty, fairness, detail oriented, clean.

Not only is all the work he does of top quality, but his pricing is very fair. He has come up with some creative solutions that both surprised and pleased my wife and I.

In short, not only is George the best contractor I've had the pleasure to deal with in the last 20 years, but assuming he remains available, he can count on my business for as long as I will be a homeowner.

Georges as contractor works for the benefit of his customer as well the quality of works provided is as he works in his own property with honesty and professionalism.

I’ve hired a builder for the construction of my home in 2016. It was a nightmare, as he left my home half built with flaws and defaults. It was difficult to locate trust afterwards. When installing the dishwasher George waited for a full cycle to complete to check for leaks. When installing mirrors and hanging art, they showed precision in detail, and unique opinion and insight. Usually after the first visit, contractors start to show their true colours, and attention to detail starts to drop... I’ve hired GNK 3 times now, and going on my 4th... the quality at GNK is second to non, and above the rest.
