We had a terrible experience with a previous major renovation in the upstairs part of our bungalow. When it came time to finish our basement we searched for a contractor with excellent reviews online. The word of others on Trusted Pros and Google reviews matters and we are so pleased they lead us to Grandview Design and Build.
Derek and Andrew are both competent contractors and nice people. They went above and beyond to give us everything we wanted within our budget. Derek was exceptional at communicating before and during this project. They made sure to use quality materials and suggested ways that we could save money while still achieving a great result. There will be bumps in the road with any big or small renovation and these were handled well with open communication and joint problem-solving to determine next steps (although there weren’t many bumps!). During Covid, renovations are much trickier but they excelled at being able to plan the job out and make sure that materials were sourced in a timely manner.
I have already recommended Grandview Design and Build to my friends and family. They exceeded my expectations and showed me that a major renovation does not have to be extremely stressful. I had every confidence that the job would be done well - and it was. I will definitely be calling Grandview for any future renovation jobs.

WOW! Beyond satisfied....we were putting our house on the market to sell. Grandview Design & Build came in a did an amazing job. First of all our upstairs bathroom, a complete gut and redesign, from an old 70's look to a new sleek modern functioning oasis. Big update to our kitchen, finished basement and our entry doors in the front as well, the side door. It truly made our house ready for the market and helped us get the over asking price.
This was a unique time for Reno's with the Pandemic, and the Fellas at Grandview Design & Build constantly followed the guidelines while in our house.
Their timeliness of their arrival and landmarks of completion dates were accurate and spot on.
At the end of day, they would let us know what was completed and what to expect the day, and finished the day cleaning up leaving the house spotless daily.
The Reno was completed on time and right on budget.
I would also like to mention.....all these Reno's took place while our Son was online learning in class, and was never disturbed.....Grandview Design & Build was also able to work around that.....Thank you!
Definitely recommend and will definitely have them in on our next project for sure.

I cannot say enough about the service provided by Grandview Design and Build. Their workmanship is excellent, and their knowledge and suggestions, were extremely helpful to me, in my decisions to complete my renovations. They always arrived on time, completed the work in the time allocated, and left my house clean and tidy after the work was finished. They went over and above my expectations when the project was completed. I was extremely happy with the work that was done in my house and I would certainly recommend Grandview Design and Build to anyone who is looking to have renovations done in their home.
