Below is the response I got when I wrote to inform Nick that many of the granite tiles had come off less than two months after the garden work was completed. I would never recommend let alone provide a product that falls off within two months if I was running this company.
We also had problems with the concrete they poured with an inexperienced sub trade who seemed to get everything wrong. Although it ended up acceptable, I feel they poured it way too wet as well as making all kinds of rookie mistakes (concrete came on a wrong day and had to be sent back, he had to tear out his first attempt at laying the tiles.
The amount they charged to cut some roots that weren't covered in the contract was a surprise to us. I believe it was an extra $1000.00 dollars. By the size of the tree, I feel they should have known that there would be large roots and given us an hourly rate and estimate prior to doing the work. They cut three oversize roots (around 9 inches) all the others were within their 4-inch limit.
The entire process took months and we were left for long periods of time with a dug up back yard. The original estimate was for a week.
Below is the response mentioned above.
Granite stones aren't highly porous that's why not guaranteed to stick. Concrete is installed to provide a base so stones don't shift as much.
As per our owner's manual stone adhesive should be used to secure stones as part of maintenance .
Please let me know if you have any other questions.

Hired Greentree to do a large project in our yard. This included a dry creek bed, mulched area and plants.
Also a path to the back of our yard.
First rain the path completely failed - 2 weeks and no response from Greentree.
6 weeks later - we have NO PLANTS and the mulch is full of weeds.
No response from Greentree at all - they ignore our communication.
Good thing we held back money!!
Don't recommend them, and they definitely were not cheap.
We had a granite patio, sidewalk, and grading done in June 2017.. Everything was fine for the first week until we noticed a bunch of loose paving stones in the middle of the patio and along the edge, the patio has a big stain on it in the middle from all the poly sand that has washed up, and there is no drainage for the water as it was built over an old cement patio that they assured us was fine.
This was when we realized how terrible their customer service is. They came out to fix it a couple weeks later, but later realized after that it wasn't even fixed. We eventually talked to Gordon, who is apparently the owner. Since we have been talking to him, he's made no effort to make us happy or get it fixed for us. In fact, he's even tried to say that it was caused by a previous issue, which is not the case. We had Corey, the landscape designer come out prior to the job being done. He took a bunch of pictures and did the design. Gordon came out to see the issue we are having and made a bunch of excuses for the quality of work that was done and was going to send a guy out to fix it that admitted he has never worked with the granite. We told him we want it fixed properly and not in the rain. Again, we followed up because we hadnt heard anything. His response was that he would send someone out in the next couple of weeks when he gets "rained out".
A year later and we still have not been able to get our patio fixed. Gordon now says the warranty is expired (even though their warranty states its 5 years) and there is nothing they can do especially when we have written a negative review on their page. Be aware of the 5 star reviews on their page. Most of them are from their own employees.
I hired Greentree to do full landscaping for my new build in Spring 2017. After my rough grade was done, they started work in July 2017. Eric (concrete crew) altered the grade where he put the patio, so the area became the lowest point of the whole yard. The pad had no positive drainage. Expansion joint was not put in. The expose aggregate workmanship was extremely poor. Carlo (1st landscape crew) showed poor organization (all material, including plants & trees were delivered at the very beginning of the project. Some were planted with roots exposed. Some were left in the sun & drying because the yard was not ready for planting. Carlo showed poor workmanship with the hardscape. Edges were not done according to plan with poor technique, and window wells were not secured to foundation. I complained to Greentree about the ugliness of the edges and the dying plants, Kenan the operation manager came to inspect Carlo's work and agreed to redo the edges and replace the dying plants. I refused to let Carlo come back to my yard, and Kenan agreed to send another crew. However, what I did not realize was a much more serious problem: Carlo has eliminated a drainage swale in the middle of my yard, thus my yard became a big slope towards the back of my house. What I find disturbing is that Kenan was on site to inspect Carlo's work, and as the operations' manager with a professional eye, he should have noticed the whole yard was sloping towards my house. If he did not realize this, he does not sound like a professional landscaping operations manager. Unless he chose to remain silent to avoid redoing the whole yard! Julian (2nd landscape crew), pointed out to me that the patio was poured too low so the area cannot be graded properly. I addressed this concern with Kenan, only to be told that he has asked Julian to grade around the area to allow proper drainage. I trusted Julian and Kenan, only to found out (from the city inspector) that the area was impossible to be graded properly, because the whole yard was sloping towards the back of my house, & the patio was poured way to low. I found Kenan and Julian to be very dishonest. Lastly, the carpentry work by Nelson is not of professional quality. Another carpenter from a different company pointed out to me none of the beams on the pergola was lined up.
2 weeks after I paid Greentree in full, I noticed sinking near the patio. Greentree was very accusatory, blaming it was due to my rough grade sinking. I was very confused, so I seek out help from the city inspector. This city inspector was the same inspector who inspected my rough grade and approved it. He pointed out to me that Greentree has substantially altered the drainage pattern of my whole yard, so my yard is a big slope towards my house. He also commented concrete structures poured next to a foundation should be tied into the foundation (like a driveway) to prevent shifting. I also did research online and found out from the city by-law that concrete structures against a foundation should have positive drainage. I then took out a level rule, and measure both concrete structures (Greentree also poured a sidewalk beside my garage) and realized none has positive drainage. With the advice of my lawyer, I proceeded to have Stantec do a topographical survey ($500 out of my pocket) of my whole yard, to preserve the elevations before snow started to fall. The survey confirmed everything that's wrong.
March 2018: Water from the melting snow continues to flow towards the patio area, leading to substantial sinking and movement. Photos attached show the area now has become a big disaster, with risk of basement flooding when rain starts to fall.
If anyone decides to hire Greentree, they should have substantial knowledge regarding drainage by-law, rough grade, and also be available to check and supervise their crew's work. I hired this company trusting my backyard to them, only to be left with a disaster.
