Let's start this review off by saying Rob Noyes came to my property with his wife and were pleasant and polite. The second the work had started his demeanor was completely different!
Rob is not a handyman by any means he is a low value zero integrity hackjob.
I will post the disgusting lack of integrity photos of his workmanship where he dug out a passage to install some stone he then proceeded to throw the dug grass and soil under the new front porch he was "Building" I had to ask him to remove it in a text or it would of stayed there!!
The deck is crooked in almost every part leaving horrendous gaps and splits everywhere. He miscalculated the build of the deck and had to change the design half way through on my dime, he proceeded to damage hundreds of dollars of wood which I put more money out of pocket for him to fix his own mistakes!!!!
Does not know how to use a measuring tape or a level nor calculate how to add a basic set of stairs to the deck creating a serious tripping hazard. Pictures attached
The deck is so crooked that there is zero over hang on the deck which he tried to cover up! Pictures attached
The handyboy that he is cannot control his emotions and is a pathelogical liar. He built the deck wrong and too high and had to destroy the front storm door of the property due to his miscalculated work!!!! He has left the property with significant damage and a destroyed front door which I need to replace and fix myself out of pocket!!!!
Do yourself a favor and do not hire this hack job the pictures speak for themselves. Rob is no longer returning my calls after I paid him for his "Work" he has created more headaches problems and damage to my property when all I wanted was a simple front deck built
Straight hack job piece of trash!
Please have a look at the pictures there are 2 pictures that can show how the left of the porch structure was changed, the absolute piss poor work for the stones and the additional wood that was all scraped.
On July 10, 2017 Rob was hired to install a 6" exhaust vent and 6" roof vent for our microwave before our new cabinets were to be installed later that day. Rob arrived that morning with a helper to do the installation, After I explained the job and gave him the material that I purchased Rob went up on the roof to start the installation. After a short time Rob asked me, not his helper, to shove the 6" exhaust pipe up through the ceiling and attic to him on the roof so he could attach it to the new vent. After another short time he said he was done. I went into the kitchen to get Rob his $200.00 cash which was the only way he would accept payment, but to my surprise the 6" pipe was falling down through the kitchen ceiling. I called him in to see the problem which he couldn't understand had happened, obviously it was not attached to the roof vent. With my help, not his helper, we shoved the pipe back into the ceiling to the vent and Rob strapped it to a ceiling joist and said that everything will be fine, it was not. Our new cabinets were installed soon after. A day or two later it started raining when we noticed water coming into the kitchen and cabinets via the vent pipe and ceiling. I went on the roof to cover the vent with a tarp and to my surprise the vent was not only installed incorrectly it had a large crack in it and a gaping hole which Rob tried to cover with tar. The vent was on top of the shingles not under them and it was lifted off the roof. I called Rob immediately and explained the problem to him. He did not offer to come back and make repairs so I asked for our $200.00 back. Rob gave me his word he would pay us back but to give him a week. It is now September 26, 2017 and nothing yet. There were many unreturned phone calls and messages not answered. Finally we were able to make contact with an E-mail which at that time he said he will pay us but needs more time. Again many weeks passed and no contact. Not only does Rob not know what he is doing, he lies, looses his temper and is not to be trusted. If we had known about the Trustedpros website before hiring Rob the "Welland Handyman", and read his reviews we certainly would not of hired him. Hopefully this review will help others in the future to make a proper choice before making a mistake like we did. Stan
We have two neighbours that can witness that Rob was here at 9:15 am, stayed approximately one hour. It did not rain that evening. I also have an email attached below with Rob agreeing to refund our money because he agreed his work was not done properly.

Hi Stan & Mary,
I can understand your frustration. Unfortunately I am trying to make ends meet, as this summer has not been the greatest for work with all this rain.
I do intend to pay you, however, I'm not sure how soon.
Thanks for understanding.
Rob
What he doesn't say is, I was finished around 4pm and around 7pm that same night, we had a very heavy rain (the black jack didn't have a chance to dry), which caused the leak. He didn't give me a chance to come and correct it, he just demanded his money back. I didn't ask him to push the pipe up, but that is what caused it to lift off the roof. He was constantly harassing me for his money.
Rob was hired to take out my tub and tiles in main bath and install new tub and tiles.
He made an error on the first day and flooded my house causing damage to family room ceiling. He left in a huff and forgot to turn water on. Came back and continued to cause more damage.
He dumped all of the garbage on the floor of the garage and was rude and belligerent. He came the next day, took half of the agreed upon money with the understanding he was to finish the job. He also took money for supplies I did not receive.
He has left the job unfinished and says he won't be back. I am out all of the money for an incomplete, screwed up job. This man is not to be trusted. He is rude, incompetent and a thief.
In my defense, the house was not flooded and although I did forget to turn the water back on before I left for the day, I turned back around before I got too far to come and turn it back on so she would have water until I came back the next day. In the meantime, she went ahead and turned it back on herself without speaking to me first (she wasn't aware if it was actually left off for a reason or not). SHE is the one that flooded the family room ceiling. All I wanted was for her to buy the paint for the ceiling and I would take care of the labour. She refused. SHE caused the damage and expected ME to pay for the material AND labour to fix it. She didn't want to pay me until I came back. I felt like if I did the work, I would end up not getting paid in the end. The bathroom job that she was having done was an extremely good price and I didn't think it was unfair to ask her to buy the paint so I can paint the ceiling SHE caused damage to in the first place.
She is not out ALL her money as I was only paid for the day I worked. There has never been any trust issues with any of my other clients in the past. My quality of work and work ethic for the past 10 years speaks for itself. As far as the garbage on the garage floor, I offered to bring my trailer to take the debris to the dump but she didn't want to pay me or any dump fees to have it taken to the dump. I asked her what she wanted me to do with it and she told me to put it on the garage floor. As far as supplies not received, I personally provided plumbing supplies worth approx. $100 which is more than $45. Anybody that deals with the public knows you can't make everyone happy all the time. There's always going to be one crazy bird from time to time !
Somebody that you CAN NOT TRUST!!!That is Rob for you!
All was easy: you only pay when the job is all done and you satisfied! NOT so, at the end
of the 1st week he asked for $1,000.!!!
We had a $1,400 shower stall installed and he drilled the hole for the shower head on
the wrong side! Only told us at the of the day, after all of the shower parts were in, that
he made the mistake! Installed tiles on the wall and never brought the electric plugs forward which means that now we have a hole between the plug and wall! He never fixed it!
Installed a vanity but did not measure where the pipes were to go! Oh well another mistake that end up having to cut behind the vanity and so destroying the access to one of the drawers!!!! And know that we have a leak on the shower that he installed does not want to come over and see what is wrong!!!!
Rob Noyes is somebody you do not want to know! And any time he made a mistake it felt like it was our fault and always costing us more $!!!
