First of all we would like to say that Nikki and Glenn are an amazing couple. They have been very helpful to us and we appreciate their friendship.
Glenn and his crew have done an amazing job on our addition and we love it. It did take a little longer than anticipated but things beyond their control were involved (weather permits etc.). Glenn and his crew were very helpful and amazing to work with. Hopefully with the Spring and warmer weather the completion of the grounds outside can be finished...too wet to finish right now.

We first met Glenn in 2010 when we were looking for a contractor to fix a crack in the foundation under our front steps and then replace the front steps with a front porch. He did such a great job that there was no hesitation on who we would call when we were ready to replace the back deck and concrete garage floor. Glenn is straightforward and is motivated to finish his projects on time. We found him very friendly and open to suggestions. You won't be disappointed!

From the very beginning Glenn was professional, trustworthy and straightforward. He was the only contractor that was able to give me a sincere response to the conditions of of my original shed and provided me with a contingency plan for the new shed. He went above and beyond to ensure that we kept within budget and that the shed was exactly how I planned it to be. The new build actually ended up being much better than I ever expected it to be. I will preface this review by saying typically I do not feel strongly enough to spend time giving referrals.
In the past we had approached several different contractors for adding an extension to our cottage. When we discovered TrustedPros we found the reviews on Hawkswood Construction and approached them for a quote.
The project entailed the addition of a 1.5 car garage, and an upstairs consisting of a sitting room, bathroom and bedroom.
Glenn was very knowledgeable and priced out everything that we should expect to be done. We gave him a budget and he was able to tell us what was realistic and not realistic within that budget.
He also presented risks to the project, given local ordinance etc. So we were well prepared for any potential additional costs that may come along.
We did have the construction done during the fall and winter months which did draw the timelines on a little longer than planned but were well within acceptable guidelines especially given the size of the project.
The care and attention to detail that Glenn and his team exhibited was very reassuring as the project moved along.
I think the number of compliments coming from our friends, family and neighbors are probably the best reflection of the work that was done. We are having the current wood siding replaced in the fall with vinyl and have chosen to use Hawkswood again because of the outstanding job they did on the extension.
And any issues, no matter how small, since the construction was completed was responded to immediately by the team.
An extension of this scope meant electrical, plumbing, drywall, painting flooring etc. as well as the concrete and external work so we are very comfortable saying that we would recommend them for any construction project you have.
