Hickory Dickory Decks Niagara

We’ve had multiple good experiences working with Peter Secord from Hickory Dickory Decks Niagara.

The first project took place at the front of our century home. Our front porch had a second story balcony, which had never been used, due to safety issues, above it. Both the porch and balcony were torn down and redone by Peter. There were some surprises along the way, as are common, especially when dealing with an old house. Peter was very helpful, and came up with multiple options to choose from, to solve the new found challenges. It was extremely important to us that the new front porch and balcony blended with the style and age of the home. The new larger porch, and the safe new balcony above, actually improves the curb appeal of our home, and they look like they’ve always been there. We were very happy with the finished project.

The next complicated project took place at the back of our home. The old deck was torn down, enlarged and lowered. The difficulty with this job was the sinking second story sunroom above the deck. Peter leveled the upper sunroom and redid the footings and posts. He did a fabulous job.

Peter and his team are pleasant to work with, skillful, professional and punctual. Both jobs were on time and on budget. We would use Peter and his team again.

Peter Secord and crew from Hickory Dickory Decks did a great job helping us to design our deck and then build it using ClubHouse decking. We had a previous deck built by Hickory Dickory Decks and we were very happy with it so when we moved to Niagara Falls we looked for the local HDD franchise.

Peter worked with us on obtaining the required permit, design changes, selection of materials, and lighting - he took us to see decks he had previously built to give us an idea and we are thrilled with the results. I can't recommend him highly enough.
