HMD construction saved the day after getting ripped off by another contractor who did not complete the job. HMD picked up the peices (literally) and completed the project on time so I could rent my basement when it was needed to avoid additional cost. They worked with me to salvage the project and mitigate an awful situation brought about by another ‘contractor’. I don’t know what I would have done without them. They are professional, courteous, efficient and left the place spotless when completed. I will be using them again for a bathroom and kitchen Reno in the future. It was an unfortunate way to meet, but glad we did. My basement is now super modern and renting for over market value for the area! HMD is my trusted professional contractor and I recommend them to everyone for there quality workmanship and fair pricing.

I hired HMD Construction LTD. to redesign the interior walls of my condo, to make it more of an enjoyable open concept. Hamid and his team from HMD Construction LTD. kept me constantly posted on the stages of the project as it went along. Hamid has a flair for what would look good, and so he provided helpful ideas about how the job should go. The end result is, I'm thrilled with the new walls in my condo! The job was done in a timely manner and within the budget that we had discussed. The cleanup was great, and I'll definitely hire this company again, next time I need a contractor to work on my home. I hired Hamid to put new floors in my living room that included Hardwood floors and Tiles. Initially, Hamid appeared very professional. He provided us the estimate which was well within our budget. Once the contract was signed, he kept asking for money for unforeseen work and was very rigid. We ended up paying 40% more on the initial agreed upon price and the actual scope remained same. He did not meet deadlines.
If you are hiring this guy, be prepared to pay more than his estimated price, at first price will be quoted low to secure the contract, and once the contract is signed then the actual fun begins. I generally don't put negative comments, but I want others to be mindful of the ordeal I went through.
