I want to warn anyone thinking of having any work done by Home Depot or their sub contractor M3 Interiors. We just went through the renovation from hell. We hired them to do hardwood floors, oak staircase, painting and powder room Reno. Total cost was $36,000. Firstly they charged us 100% up front when they shouldn't have. They took 7 weeks instead of two. Caused damage in every room to walls, ceilings, our furniture, light fixtures etc. The work they did do is so bad it's hard to put into words. The floors look awful, the stairs are terrible, crooked, wrong colour, lost part of our bannister, spindles crooked, paint job terrible... We complained and now they won't finish the job or do the repairs. They won't even respect the 1 year warranty we have. We have recordings of their employees, assistant manager and store manager agreeing that they would not accept this in their own homes, when we showed them the pictures but won't come in to fix their shoddy work. They have completely abandoned us and now we have to take them to court. You would not believe the mess they left our home in. We've been living in an incomplete reno, damage for months now.
