Got 5 quotes for this large job on my house. In the end I felt comfortable with Home Doctor. I made the right choice. Professional, excellent workmanship and got the job done when they said the would. I would highly recommend.

Shaun was amazing right from the start when he called us back within 24hrs after my request for a quote. Shaun setup a time that worked for both parties and provided us with a professional quote and date to start. The Home Doctor team was great making sure the workspace was safe knowing we had children coming and going and were very clean after every day. Very pleased!

When we had periods of medium to heavy rain, our evestroughs could not handle the flow. In the colder months we had icicles that formed on every seam and corners of the house. We called Shaun Rickard - Home Doctor, who reviewed the situation. He provided a solution along with a quote and timeframe for the completion of the job. He and his installers showed up at the appointed time and did a superb job.

When the installation was completed, the lead installer water tested the install to ensure it was right. We did a walk around to inspect the installation, after which they cleaned up the site and removed the old debris. Everything was as discussed. They were extremely professional and the job came in on budget and on time. A few days after the completion of the install, Shaun came by to do his own walk about. He also indicated we should evaluate the results when we experienced a heavy rainfall and give him a call if there was a problem.

We hired Home Doctor GTA to replace siding, soffits and fascia on our house. From the beginning CEO and owner Shaun Rickard was helpful, attentive and professional, returning emails and answering even the smallest questions in a timely manner. Despite scheduling difficulties on our end, Shaun accommodated us without issue. He also had good ideas and solutions for problems other companies had been unable to address. He clearly knows his business, and the quotes for the work were detailed and fair. The siding was being replaced on the gables, along with a back addition. Our house is over a hundred years old, and many aspects are not level or square. It was not always a straightforward job, but Mirsad and his team took great care with our home and did a top-notch job. The team are a really nice group of fellows - friendly, considerate and hard-working. Our satisfaction was important to them. The house looks just great and we are very pleased. My house is a backsplit with aluminium siding. The pale blue siding was over 30 years old and looking tired and in the winter it was a good 5 degrees colder in the back of the house where the siding is rather than the front. So I decided it was time for a replacement.

From the moment I met Shaun I knew I had found the right contractor and needed to look no further. He made an excellent suggestion to match up the front of the house with siding (formerly a wooden faà§ade) so it would match the back with existing brick in between. I have consistently had problems with eavestrough drainage and wasted good money on contractors who did not know what they were doing. It was clear from the first conversation Shaun did and he made excellent suggestions. I chose a deeper blue this time.

From the moment Shaun's team of Adam and Chris started work I knew I had found the perfect dream of a contractor. The standard of workmanship was the highest level. Their attention to details was as if this was their own house they were working on, perhaps even higher! They worked quickly without compromising quality and always kept the work site as clean and tidy as possible. My house is almost 100 years old and has a lot of ‘fiddly bits’ - they coped with these in the most ingenious, top notch ways. Adam and Chris are genuinely lovely guys who were only too happy to go that little extra mile that means so much. I really missed not having them around when they were finished!

In short, I would not hesitate to recommend the Home Doctor to anyone needing siding, eavestrough and soffit work done. Shaun is a great guy and his team are top quality. By the time they finished I really did feel like hugging them all and shedding a tear like those people who get reno makeovers on HGTV. My house looks like a million bucks now (literally) and as I am on a corner lot I have had all of my neighbours and many people walking by commenting on how wonderful it looks.

My house and garage were built in 1952. Solid brick. The wood door jams around the large garage door and the small entry doors at the front and back of the garage has layers of paint which has peeled off and been repainted multiple times. Looks horrible. I contacted Shaun at Home Doctor to have them covered up with aluminum panels/capped. A crew of 3 men arrived a few weeks later, did a fantastic job in 3 hours. The garage looks fresh and new. Extremely pleased with the work.

My Husband and I have made several disappointing choices over the years when hiring contractors to do work on our home. However, hiring Home Doctor turned out to be one of the best decisions we have ever made. Shaun is personable, knowledgeable and made some great suggestions as to how we could divert water away from our driveway. His crew were wonderful and did excellent work, we are very happy with our new gutters and eaves.
