Our family had a tenant living in the basement suite of our house for over 6 years. During that time span we didn't really pay much attention to how much the unit was degraded in many different ways, but now that our tenant was finally moved out we realized how much worse the suite had become. We called Home renovation vancouver to completely redo the basement like something you'd see in a magazine. While we didn't have too many specific requests, we had a few "non-negotiables" that they stuck to very carefully.
We also were interested in opening up our living room a little bit because the current setup felt too crammed. I had them give us a quote on that too since we liked the cost they gave us for the basement alone. I liked what they had to say so we had them work on that too. They finished both projects (basement and upstairs living) in about 18 days, not counting weekends. It was alot of work but well worth the investment. Communicating with them was painless and I just liked their transparency from top to bottom. The work speaks for itself.
My wife and I decided that it was time to move on from our house, but wanted to extract the maximum amount of value we could given the current state of the housing market. The house was built in the 60's so the kitchens and baths were pretty outdated as you might expect, but we couldn't fit the bathroom reno in our budget so we stuck to just the kitchen (mainly).
They had a member of their team come in and take a look at it before giving us a quote. He was punctual, polite, and understanding of the situation. The quote was fairly decent and based on their stellar portfolio we decided to give them the chance to renovate our kitchen, so we booked for 2 weeks into the future.
To break it all down, we needed new countertops, cabinetry, and wanted an island installed. We also wanted to tear down an old wall from the kitchen that would free up and look into the living room. Painting was also on our list. All of these things were completed to our liking in just under a week of work, which was pretty amazing I thought. The house hasn't went onto the market yet but it's definitely far more beautiful than it was a few weeks ago! From professionalism, to materials, and honesty - I seriously recommend Home Renovation Vancouver. They were fantastic to work with!

Though we don't give them much credit, bathrooms really are important for making a house feel complete. After all, at one point or another - pretty much everyone who enters your house will at one point or another enter your bathroom. For this reason it's important that you make your bathroom great.
Kitchen reno's are arguably some of the most important types of renovations out there and they are by far the most common type of work we do. Whether you want to just install a couple of cabinets or want to completely destroy or rebuild the room - we've got you covered for all kitchen needs.
