Terrible/horrific experience with this company. Workmanship is disgraceful, work has to be redone over and over, crocked walls, horrible tile work, a complete waste of time and money. They use anyone they can to perform some of the work, like asking their plumber to lay tiles in the shower.. resulting in unacceptable work done. Lost several thousands of dollars in my basement, Will never allow these people to come close to my property again.
AVOID - We used hpmac as they were completing a job at our neighbors house and promised to complete our driveway quick. In the end the job took over 3 weeks for a 15'' x 7'' parking spot for our car. The quality of work was questionable at best. We expressed at the start of the job that we were not picky about an overall pattern or design. Derek took that notion as "put stones anywhere". Our driveway is now an assortment of some stones placed with intention and awkward random stones cut just to fit holes. We had hoped that there would be intention on Derek's part to present the best possible finished product he could. It was clear that was not his intention.
The entire job was done with an attempt to cut corners and complete the job at the lowest possible cost to himself. A good example of this was when he ran out of stone to finish the job. Instead of picking up more of the same stone (as was agreed upon) he decided to use a completely different brand, colour, and finish of stone. When we expressed our concern he passed it off as a miscommunication on our part.
Do not recommend to anyone unless you enjoy terrible work and being threatened to be taken to small claims court - class act.
