I hired Lindon to do a few large renovation projects at my new residence. He was not punctual, disappeared for two weeks, no phone call, then when he appeared started asking for more money. I told him the roof had to go on as I had been waiting for months. He stormed out mid afternoon.
His workmanship is less than acceptable with my front door being installed incorrectly causing the front door gripset to break in less than 6 months as it wasn't lined up properly. He "hacked" away at the outside frame and I will have to smooth a lot of it with wood filler and sanding. He left insulation foam all over the front cement porch and it is still there waiting to be scraped off somehow.
He started replacing a sidelight window and after he broke the window he decided he didn't want to continue. I subsequently had to hire another contractor to fix the windows.
He finally installed a new roof after months of asking except he decided not to replace the shingles around the chimney nor on the porch roof both of which were included in the contract and now my roof is leaking into my kitchen. There is bare wood and nails protruding up. I did not inspect my new roof and therefore had paid him and he ran off without finishing the job.
He was installing tile in the bathtub surround and three of the tiles were protruding out. He blamed me saying the wall wasn't straight except he is the one who installed the new cement board. Didn't bother caulking the tub after it was installed with the tiles.
He installed a new interior door with a "fast fit" frame and the door will not stay open and continues to close. He put one shim in leaving it hanging and didn't finish the job. This new door was never leveled properly.
He installed a doorknob on a set of garden doors incorrectly (upside down).
He does not have 10 employees as he works on his own. His work is sloppy and he certainly does not clean up after himself and I was more than disappointed with his work and have since had to hire other contractors to fix Lindon's mistakes.
I have tried to contact Lindon for the repair of my roof and he is not returning any phone calls nor responding to any emails. He tends to change emails and phone numbers very frequently.
I would definitely not recommend Lindon.
