Stopped showing up after 1 month and left the job 1/2 done. Refused to return texts and emails for almost a week before we finally gave up on him. He took a week off to go to Vegas in the middle of the job (when he was already 2 weeks roughly past completion date). Quoted 1 week for entire job, but after 1 month was perhaps 1/2 done and wanting more money, though we had already paid him for the full job at that time and actually paid him $900 for his labor more than he quoted. He only twice ever showed up before Noon, and never put in 8 hours to our recollection. He ignored an email from us summarizing what he owed us to complete the job. He would text saying he was on the way, and then not show up at all. We had to rip up the tile shower due to improper installation by him). ITF Contracting is AKA Iain (Iains) Flaherty. Didn't have a shop vac, contractor bags, tarps, or various tools (had to supply our own) because he would just ignore our requests or say he forgot or would bring them 'tomorrow'. Two weeks after we last heard from him he admitted via text that he stopped deliberately because he had under-quoted the job by thousands and 'he doesn't work for free'.
