Be very careful about the pricing with this guy, he quoted me 250 for everything at the beginning, in the middle of installation, he asked me if I want to install dimmable switch, at first I thought it was a nice ask and was quite grateful, later, he asked me for $45 each for the switches (which, according to him, he bought it for 45 each from Home Depot but I couldn't find the brand of his switches on Home Depot; later he claimed he bought it from somewhere else and couldn't show me where he bought it), cause he uninstalled my original switches already, I had to agree to pay him 35 each.
Later on, when everything is done, he asked me to pay for additional fee (which he never mentioned before), obviously I wouldn't want to pay for something I agreed, then he stayed at my place for 20 mins and didn't want to leave, until I called the security and then he left. By the way, he threatened me that he will sue me in court.
Other things:
1. the switches were not done properly, the open and off are upside down for the 2 switches, not biggy but not something you'd be happy with.
2. using my washroom without asking, I mean not that I don't allow people to use, a courtesy ask would be appreciated;
3. I put the paper cover on my carpet for his ladder, but he couldn't even place his ladder fully inside the paper cover (the cover is big enough)
Please do not waste your time contacting this person. I paid him $300.00 for a job he didn't fix properly.
I called him back to come and fix it and he wanted to charge me another $300.00, total scam
I ended up having to call Toronto Hydro because the issue was much bigger than what Jay said. He didn't even take the time to troubleshoot properly.
BEWARE OF THIS SCAM ARTIST.
Installed a light. Allowed his girlfriend to install it incorrectly. Wouldn't return to correct his work. When I fixed it. Turns out he cut all the wires too short and my fixture fell. Very rude, poor workmanship, so much so that
Beware.....Call someone else.
Told me one price then upped it when he finished his work. Cut and threw everything around the room too. Didn't clean after himself. Beware
Zero stars
Very rude. Not show up on time, and showed up after 11pm as it is normal.

Charge $50 for 1 screw (make sure you have all necessary screw or electrical code ahead of time. You can pay $50 for used piece that he can offer from his pocket or you will pay $200 for revisit).
Come on your carpet with dirty shoes on. Makes mess in general. Make sure to have a dirty stool for him to step on. He doesn't bring his own ladder.
No mask during pandemic.
Make sure to text him back timely. If you dont answer his text, he will text you like an angry chihuahua.
