I hired Jolanta for a simple plumbing job. They were to hook up main drain on a shower renovation as well as do necessary work for Riobel rainshower head and shower divertor. All work was done well until hookup of hose line for toilet which they supplied. I received a call from my frantic customer that water was coming through her ceiling. I called Anthony to meet me at site the next day and it was determined that hose line from toilet was the cause. Anthony proclaimed that it must have been tile setter and didn't take responsibility for this.
After much trouble and headaches trying to settle this with Jolanta Plumbing it became apparent that not only did this idiot have insurance he wasn't even licensed.
As a contractor I looked after all damage to the tune of $4,500.00 with all water damage, plastering and drywall work. Please everyone stay away from this fraud as its apparent he doesn't warranty his business which is required by law.
Hired Anthony for installing a new bath tub.
1) The pipe they installed are crooked, bent and/or out of framing wall.
2) They broke my vanity and toilet
3) Threw the broken toilet and vanity in the backyard
4) And worst of all - they used my basement toilet for the big job and left it unflushed / soiled - I mean really really filthy.
I hired Antony Jolanta to install a backwater valve in my basement as a part of the City of Toronto rebate program. He told me a number of times that he is licenced and registered with the City of Toronto. He obtained the Work Permit (required to do the work), and did the work. After he left, I found out that he was NOT LICENCED or REGISTERED with the City, and now I am out of pocket $1250.
Additionally, he left 50+lbs of concrete that he dug in MY YARD. Thank you for LYING to me, and NOT REPLYING to my calls and voicemails.
This is not true the costumer had extra work I did the work and he didn't pay for the extra work, and the agreement
Wasn't to take away the garbage and old pipes.we did profesional work otherwise he is weary picki costumer and he kikt out the general contractor for no reson.
Jolanta plumbing installed a water heater at my home sometime in late Dec 2009. I am no plumbing or water heater expert, but shortly after the installation, I questioned the particular model that was chosen for the job. I had specific requirements stated in my Project scope, which was based on the available models at the time. I was hoping for a quiet water heater (no fan) and did some research to determine if the technology existed. These units are referred to as direct vent units which have a vent assembly similar to a gas fireplace. In other words, no power vent motor and quiet operation. Jolanta Plumbing assured to me that they could do this job. Shortly after the gas company removed the rental unit and brought my attention to this installation, I reviewed the Manufacturer's site and determined that this model is designed for chimneys, and not the one that I asked for. Jolanta assured me that the correct model was installed for the job as they routinely install this model for similar applications. I recently required the services of a furnace repair technician. Following the repair, the technician examined my water heater since it sits adjacent to the furnace. He told this installation is totally below code, wrong model for application, inferior materials and inferior installation methods. He compared the venting to that of a dryer vent and threatened to affix a "Red Tag" (shut it down) until is repaired. Be cautious when dealing with this company. I have not heard from them yet and feel that there will be problems with them, especially if the TSSA gets involved as a result of this "Red Tag". I cannot recommend the services of Jolanta plumbing at this time.
This guy is a making story's we did the gob and he'd ident won't to pay for expensive wanting pipes he won't ed to use chip material. He whose happy with the installation.
