What is the difference between paint and lacquer?
The first and number one difference, is that most paint is not a cabinet manufacturer approved product, and although it may be a quality paint; is not intended for the long term wear and tear that kitchens receive.
Lacquer gives the smooth, durable and washable finish you would expect from a high end cabinet. When you choose Overhaul to refinish your cabinets, you get a quality finish for your cabinets at a fraction of the cost of replacing or refacing.
