We had 2 jobs done for us by JT Construction in March 2015; custom cabinetry in our living room and our back door replaced. We worked with Ted to create the perfect design for our space and they turned out amazing!! We live in an old house with uneven floors so it certainly wasn't easy to do. Our Back door wasn't an easy job either. They removed our 100 year old door and rebuilt the existing frame. Great job all around and we would definitely use them again.

JT Construction Solutions undertook a large renovation (and our first renovation!) of an old home, and managed the many moving parts that come along with a job of that scope.

They completed structural work, installed new floors, redid a staircase and changed locations of windows and doors. Additionally, they coordinated and oversaw electrical, waterproofing and exterior work as part of the project.

Ted and Justin were professional and always maintained open communication with us about budget, timeline and particulars of the work. This was much appreciated given that we were complete renovation novices. They finished the project when they said they would and we are very satisfied with our new home. In certain instances Ted and Justin went beyond expectations to achieve a level of quality that we appreciate.

We would use JT Construction Solutions again and absolutely recommend them, if you are looking for knowledgeable contractors and sound carpentry work.

Ted and Justin of JT Construction Solutions are supremely talented and easy to work with. I came to them with an unfinished basement that had recently been under-pinned.

They gave me advice on city codes for a "legal" basement apartment and framed, drywalled and helped design a really amazing space. They were great creative problem solvers and came up with terrific solutions to the challenges that regularly pop up when you undertake a project like this.

The work was done in a very timely manner and if they said they'd be there - they'd be there (very important when dealing with contractors today). Their work is precise, they respect the client's wishes and budget- and their pricing is

fair. I'd highly recommend them. And, as my father and uncle were both contractors, that's really saying something.

It was a pleasure working with Justin, Ted and their crew. They did a fantastic job on a full renovation of our two bedroom apartment. They took care to keep us informed of how things were going throughout the renovation and went above and beyond in certain situations to accommodate us. Justin and Ted (and the entire staff of JT Construction Solutions) were both courteous and professional. The job was completed on time, despite numerous issues that arose that were beyond their control (bad weather and supplier mix-ups). They did an amazing job at keeping me informed about the status of the project and always went above and beyond to ensure the deck was completed to my satisfaction (e.g. working in torrential rain on more then one occasion). These guys have an amazing work ethic and I would hire them again in a second.

We are an interior design firm working out of BC for a BC client that has an office in Toronto. We were asked to upgrade their Toronto offfices - and do some minor renovations - including adding doors removing and re-installing the reception desk and refreshing the finishes. We found Ted and his team on this website - along with a few others. We chose JT Construction because they were prompt in their response and reasonable with their quotes. It is normally quite difficult to work long distance - but Ted made it easy for us. We do not hesitate to recommend them - and would happily use them again!

We moved into a new place in November 2012, and it needed a bit of work - new hardwood, the stairs needed replacing and it needed a fresh coat of paint. Ted and Jason walked through the property with us to assess what needed to be done, talked us through our options, and put together a detailed bid that beat the rest on both price and level of attention. They were in quickly to start the work, were always friendly and professional, and finished up the job ahead of schedule (we were amazed at how quickly things progressed, actually). We're extremely happy with the finished product, would happily work with them again and would recommend them to anyone undertaking a home reno that requires a skilled carpenter.

JT got my new business up and running with the necessary renovations. They kept me under budget and on time. They kept me informed on the progress and made sure I was happy with the job every step of the way. The quality of work was excellent and their service was professional. I have hired them again for me new location!
