Home Inspection
A home inspection is a visual inspection of the structure and components of a home to find items that are not performing correctly or items that are unsafe. If a problem or a symptom of a problem is found, I will include a description of the problem in a written digital report along with a picture (my report in PDF file format can easily be sent to your most trusted contractors, realtors, or family members to give you an idea of the costs involved to correct the issues - and to provide you the opportunity of a sober second thought). Before you close, should consider whether or not the suggested repairs are needed and who's going to pay for them.
With a strong background in home construction permit applications, electrical rewire installations, plumbing retrofits, roofing applications, renovation structural repairs, water well management, septic system installs, and HVAC systems, I enjoy bringing my skills to the Home Inspection industry. In addition to my history in all the building trades, I graduated from the CarsonDunlop Consulting Engineers Home Inspector Training Program. I am currently licensed under the Business Practices & Consumer Protection Authority of British Columbia License # 55664, and certified by two National associations - CanNACHI and InterNACHI. I'm committed to ongoing education and attend regular educational training programs and always review past credits, to ensure you that your home inspection is accurate and is up to date on the changes in house systems and required safety enhancements.
